Employee Turnover and Retention in a Selected Company

The diploma thesis is focused on employee turnover and retention in a selected company. The theoretical part defines terms that are related to this issue. This part focuses on the causes and consequences of employee turnover, on people resourcing and retention of current employees. This theoretical knowledge is used in the analytical part during analyzing and evaluating the current state of the company. Based on the findings, recommendations that would support effective recruitment and selection process of suitable employees, support retention and reduce employee turnover in the company are provided.

This master’s thesis deal with assertion personal marketing in company. Theoretical part of this work is focused on the knowledge of assertion of marketing in HR sphere. In the second, practical part of this master thesis analysis the current state of company, which should help in  the identification of problematic areas of personal marketing in the company. This analysis part of this work is enriched by the views of employees. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the  current situation of the company’s personal marketing in order to improve the areas identified as problematic.
Intercultural competence: a solution to employee engagement in multinational companies

This thesis centers on evaluating the influence of intercultural competence on employee engagement levels within the international work environment of multinational corporations. The primary objective is to assess the extent to which intercultural competence can impact employee engagement. A secondary objective is to examine the significance of intercultural competence in cultivating a robust, positive, and supportive workplace atmosphere. Additionally, the study aims to draw the attention of both managers and employees to the profound impact of cultural factors on work performance and engagement. Consequently, practical recommendations are provided to enhance intercultural competence and, consequently, elevate employee engagement levels. To establish the correlation between intercultural competence and employee engagement, a quantitative approach is employed, analyzing data obtained from an online survey involving 187 participants. The thesis employs regression analysis and hypothesis testing to establish the mathematical relationship between these two variables. Qualitative methods are also utilized to compare and analyze perspectives gathered from interviews, offering practical suggestions to employees, managers, and organizations to improve intercultural competence and simultaneously boost engagement levels.

Motivation of employees in language schools

My bachelor thesis is focused on problems of the working motivation of employees in two selected companies. The aim of the work is to analyze and evaluate the current situation of motivational system of language school's employees and to find potential recommendations which could help. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part devotes to defining the term motivation with emphasis on motivation of working behaviour and other basic related knowledge. In practical part, there is description of the research's aims, chosen method, analysis and evaluation. Data were acquired by questionnaire which included several circuits of questions regarding inside communication and relationships, career progression, employee engagement or job description.
Analysis of Employee Engagement in a Chosen Organization

The main goal of this thesis is to highlight the importance of employee engagement and deeply investigate employee engagement among selected employees in medium size organization, which operates in Liptovský Mikuláš. Besides finding out the total employee engagement, author examines the level of cognitive, physical, and emotional engagement too. Results are then compared to other studies provided by Gallup and CIPD research centers. Thesis further introduces the link between employee engagement and age, gender and occupation of workers. Additionally, it presents the importance of individual employee engagement drivers for employees. The data collection was done by using questionnaire and structured interviews. After the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the research results, author presents possible recommendations that observed organization can use in the future in order to improve the engagement level.
Employer branding

The main objective of the thesis is to identify and to evaluate tools which are used for external and internal employer branding. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on relation between employer brand and employee engagement and on describing methods which can be used for external and internal employer branding. In the practical part, these methods are compared with employer branding activities of the chosen company and with analyses of outputs of online questionnaires distributed to university students, graduates and employees of the chosen company.
