František Bartes, CSc. My diploma work deals with the recommendation of strategy of quality in product plant. In the theoretical part I consider with the main type of strategy of quality and I indicate status analysis. In the practical part I implemented the theoretical solution to real situation within the corporation. I offer the final strategy of quality with several ideas that can help to improve the development of corporation.
Strategic approach to Corporate Social Responsibility in the company Thimm Packaging

This Master thesis deals with a topic of Corporate Social Responsibility as a part of a corporate strategy. In the theoretical part a CSR concept with implementation process is explained. The practical part is focused on Thimm Packaging. For evaluation of Thimm Social Responsibility the EFQM method modified for the CSR is used and a questionnaire survey is applied. The aim of this work is to evaluate TSR and to propose options for improvement of company social strategy.
The Quality Management System in a chosen Firm

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and assess the quality management system in a chosen firm and to propose measures that would lead to the improvement of its functioning. The theoretical part deals with quality management in manufacturing companies, describes the individual approaches to quality management, tools and methods. The practical part describes the quality management system in the company Robert Bosch, spol. s r.o., České Budějovice and its assessment is performed based on an analysis of documents relating to quality management, interviews with managers and employees of the quality department and observing the functioning of the quality management system. Thesis is then focused on several areas with potential for improvement. One of them is documenting of product audit, with lack of evaluation of the records of the tests. Proposed measure is electronic archiving of records and statistical processing of data from tests on these records listed. Another area is related to the archiving of samples. Set of measures to improve the samples archiving system is applied, together with cost saving measures.
Application of EFQM Excellence Model in the Selected Organization

In the thesis there is described increasing importance of quality and quality management. One of the conception of quality management is Total quality management. The european method of TQM is the Excelence model EFQM. It´s an instrument for complex control of quality. The thesis describes an aplication of the model in ČSÚ and compares the results, which has the organization reached till 2002.
The Method of Service Desk assessment according to ITIL and other methodologies

The goal of this diploma thesis is to create a methodology for rapid assessment of Service Desk function. The thesis comprises three logical units. The introductory part describes a theoretical framework of methodologies used for general functions of IT services. As a part of this section, the case study of delivery of IT services in company Pražská energetika a.s. follows. In the second part, the diploma thesis describes a methodology based on introductory analysis for evaluation of Service Desk in certain aspects of its operation including related issues of lifecycle of providing IT services. The final part of the thesis provides a case study which is based on application of the proposed methodology on several selected companies.
Modern Trends in Public Administration Management

The Thesis analyses modern trends in the management of Public Administration in Czech Republic. The reforms and changes in Public Administration are supported by the implementation of management tools and tools focused on quality of Administration. These tools, including elements of corporate governance and some principles of private sector market, aims to improve and make the Public Service more effective. New Public Management (NPM) can be considered as a general name for the tools and for the concept of the Management of Public Administration, in particular meaning the principles of Process Management, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Benchmarking, the Common Assessment Framework and other methods and tools based on the models of TQM and EFQM. The practical part of the thesis contains the surveys and evaluation of the efficiency of the above mentioned models by the Regional Authority and selected municipalities, including their strengthts and weaknesses.

Práce se zabýva systémy managementu jakosti, s důrazem na orientaci na zákazníka. Předmětem práce je vyhodnocení spokojenosti zákazníků Ľubovnianské nemocnice, n.o., zdravotnického zařízení certifikované dle ISO 9001:2001. V praktické části jsou organizaci nabídnuta různá doporučení pro odstránění nedostatků zjištěných na základě provedeného dotazníkového průzkumu. Dále je cílem práce také vypracování návrhu vhodného způsobu monitorování a měření spokojenosti zákazníků v Ľubovnianské nemocnici,n.o.
Význam benchmarkingu jako nástroje ke zvyšování firemní výkonnosti

Obsahem práce je využití veřejně dostupných dat k návrhu implementace modelu EFQM jako příkladu použití benchmarkingu ve stavebním podniku. Práce se zabývá nejdříve obecným seznámením se s problematikou, poté představením vývoje stavebního odvětví, srovnání v klíčových finančních ukazatelích se stavebním odvětvím a následně obsahuje návrhy na řešení modelu EFQM ve stavebním podniku.
Implementace modelu CAF v místní správě
