Dynamometer for measuring power of IC-engines
Mikulášek, Tomáš ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of the work was to summarize the development of a system for measuring the power of internal combustion engines, from the initial simple dynamometers, to modern electronic devices with flange strain gauge for sensing torque compared their advantages and disadvantages, usability, efficiency, performance and manageability. Furthermore there was performed comparison with the standards dealing with this issue. Use of these devices is available, subject to atmospheric conditions specified in standard and manufacturer.
Mechanical design of a test stand for an electric brake
Lacko, Peter ; Ripel, Tomáš (referee) ; Hrbáček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with mechanical design of test stand for an electric brake. A part of this thesis is manufacturing documentation and 3D model of test stand with accessories.
Reducing of Engine Mechanical Losses
Černohous, Tomáš ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the mechanical losses in combustion engines and demonstrates methods and techniques for their detection. It also presents the modern trends in reducing mechanical losses.
Conception of mounting Formula Student engine to dynamometer
Špičák, Milan ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the mounting of single cylinder motorcycle engine on a dynamometer. The first part is about Formula Student competition. It also contains an overview of the motor testing cells, including measuring equipment. Finally describes the draft of mounting the engine Husaberg FE 570 on dynamometer Superflow SF-902 including virtual model for illustration.
Testing of motorcycle engine output
Rampáček, Bernard ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the principle of operation of current cylindrical performance tests, that are used to measure of motorcycles performance parameters. Furthermore the substance of measurement, the resulting values and purpose of these tests. Then comparison of used types of cylindrical brakes for measuring performance of motorcycles and at the end includes the possible construction solution of attachment of motorcycle to the dynamometer, primarily intended to measure parameters of cars.
Equipment and station for engine output testing
Matajsz, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the retrieval of current facilities and workplaces for measuring performance parameters of internal combustion engines. Major focus is placed on the division of each device for measuring performance based on their method of functioning, as well as on equipment workplaces where these facilities are implemented.
Reduction of cranktrain mechanical losses
Lhota, Martin ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis Reduction of cranktrain mechanical losses is to describe the issue of lowering mechanical losses occuring in the crank mechanism of internal-combustion engine. Therefore it aims to create a list of mechanical losses main sources, to show suitable methods to determine them, and to describe some of earlier used concepts leading to reduction of friction losses. Further, it is focused on the description and comparison of existing trends by which the given problem can be solved to a certain extent. The thesis also tries to evaluate these trends by an analysis following the standpoint of effectiveness and progressiveness, and to formulate a conclusion.
Measurement of damper characteristics
Čajka, Lukáš ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
A brief survey on individual types of vehicle dampers is stated in the introductory part of the thesis. However, the main subject matter deals with the description of testing methods and testing devices which serve for providing measurements of the vehicle dampers characteristics. Comparison and assessment of advantages and disadvantages of individual types of testing conditions are also included as a part of this work.
Race Car Measurement and Setup Devices
Andrys, Michal ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This project deals with the systems and instruments used to measure and adjust the performance and effeciency of racing cars. The main goal of the work is to summarise the most widely used instruments for the basic and most important setup of the cars performance and the measurement of the most important components. It is concerned with tyres, wheels, engine and chassis.
Interface dynamometer Maihak 500kN
Knejzlík, Jaromír
Dynamometer MAIHAK with a range of 500kN string contains 3 sensor. The rate is calculated as the arithmetic average of 3 successively measured channels (according to the documentation MAIHAK). All parameters in the interface DM 500_kN are set firmly, ie. The interface does not receive any messages from the PC.
