Measurement and Evaluation of Business Performance

This bachelor thesis focuses on the measurement and evaluation of business performance of a selected Czech company using traditional financial analysis methods. The thesis consists of three main parts. The first is a theoretical basis, providing an overview of the basic concepts and methods of financial analysis as a key tool for understanding the financial situation and measuring performance. The second part focuses on the application of the described methods, during which key trends and shortcomings are identified. The third part is based on these findings, as it proposes solutions to help improve the financial situation and long-term sustainability of the company.

Evaluation of Company Efficiency

The thesis deals with evaluation of company efficiency by economic value added method. An analysis of company efficiency is carried out through the use of EVA and partial indicators, that were obtained via its decomposition. Consequently, the results of this analysis are interpreted. Based on these results, special arrangements to improve the current situation of the company are suggested.

The subject of my bachelor work is processing the entrepreneurial object of the foundation and operation company Octago. The work is divided into theoretical, analytical and practical part. The theoretical section contains of the definition of entrepreneurial plan, enterprise, entrepreneurship and juridical form of enterprise. The entrepreneurial plan for Octago is conducted in the practical part. The aim of this work is basing company Octago.

Proposal and Valuation of the Investment Project

This diploma thesis analyses project of investment apartment building and aims to study feasibility of business intent. At the opening of theoretical part there are investment projects characterized and further defined single parts of feasibility study, which is extended by description of possible ways of financing. Content of practical part is already design of the investment project which includes its location and technical solution, following in further chapters are market analysis and related key outputs of marketing strategy, included is also financial analysis and assessment of economical effectiveness. At the ending of thesis the risk analysis is made and preventive measures explained.

Betterment of building by investment into smart building system

This thesis deals with investments issue for smart house systems. The theoretical part describes the definitions of the economic area, the area of intelligent systems and real estate valuation. In the practical part, there is detected the real estate price, accomplished a survey of public opinion and designed particular smart house system. The proposed solution is divided into sections and evaluated from economic and non-economic aspect. In the conclusion there is determined the value of the real estate after the completion of the investment.
