The bachelor thesis deals with the project documentation for the construction of a residential building in Brno in the Brno – Žabovřesky district. The building is detached in a slightly sloping terrain in Podveská street. The residential building has four floors and a partially buried basement. In the basement are designed garage parking spaces, cellar cubicles and technical background of the building. There are a total of 11 residential units on the above-ground floors, 3 residential units on each floor (2×1kk and 3kk) except for the last floor, where there are only 2 residential units (1kk and 4kk). The house is designed as wheelchair accessible. The construction system of the apartment building is wall-based: the basement is made of a combination of monolithic walls and columns, and the brick floor is made of ceramic blocks. The horizontal structures consist of reinforced concrete monolithic slabs with one-way or two-way reinforcement. The perimeter walls are insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system. The foundation of the building is made on foundation strips and the roofing consists of a green flat roof.

Svobodová, Tereza ; Lavický, Miloš (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the new apartment building in Prostejov, which will meet the requirements and conditions for a building with almost zero energy consumption. This apartment building was designed in such a way that its operation does not limit the operation of adjacent apartment buildings on neighboring parcels in the immediate vicinity. The new building is designed as a detached apartment building on a flat plot. The main entrance and arrival to the plot is from the north side. On the land used by us, a parking area with the number of nine parking spaces will be proposed, which are located in the west. The building also has an underground garage with an additional parking space. The apartment building is designed as four floors with a basement. In the basement of the apartment building, there are storage spaces, together with the technical background of the relevant technologies, a garage with twelve parking spaces, which stands out from the regular shape of the building's floor plan. On the 1st floor there is also a carriage house, a bicycle shed, a cleaning and technical room and three apartment units. Only residential units are located on the other above-ground floors. The total number of residential units is twelve. They are divided into three layout categories – 1+kk, 2+1, 3+1. Apartment units on the 2nd floor, 3rd floor and 4th floor have balconies designed for recreation. If necessary, the layout of apartments and common areas can be changed to meet the requirements of barrier-free use of the building by persons with disabilities. The bachelor's theses were prepared in accordance with the current legal regulations of the Czech Republic as of the date of submission of this bachelor's thesis.

Honek, Jan ; Brzoň, Roman (referee) ; Vlach, František (advisor)
My bachelor's thesis aims to design documentation for building permission of an Energy efficient family house. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part includes architectural, structural, and fire safety designs and daylighting, acoustic, and thermal assessment. The building is designed on a sloping plot in Předklášteří. It has three-stories with a gable roof and is designed for a family of five. The floor plan of the building is a simple rectangle with an unusual layout. In the basement, there is the private part, and the social part is on the first floor. The foundations are designed from cast-in-placed concrete, vertical load-bearing walls are designed from sand-lime blocks. The floor structure is from prestressed hollow core slabs. The roof structure is designed from timber trusses. Developed designs of building services and energy certificate are elaborated in the second part of the thesis. I design water supply, wastewater management, rainwater management, electric installation, and heat systems. The rainwater will be stored in underground tanks, placed outside of the house, and will be used for flushing toilets and irrigation. The main source of heating is an air-water heat pump, and the supplementary heat source is a stove. There is floor heating in the building. I designed photovoltaic panels on the south-facing roof to use renewable resources. This ventilation system is designed as mechanical heat ventilation recovery, to reduce heat losses. The house is designed to have an A-class rating in energy performance certification.
