Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Švec, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design a altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are storaged during the flight into memory. Data can be after the recording through the USB transferred to the PC store. The software on the PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.

Info-portal with WWW
Pilný, Jiří ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with conception of info-portal controlled by Ethernet connection. The system is divided into three parts: web server, control electronics and flip-dot panel. The information to display is sent to or received from the web server. The info-portal is equiped by sensors for measurement of interior parameters (temperature, humidity and atmosferic pressure).
Design of a new iontometer with wireless communication and weather station
Kadlček, Václav ; Hrabina, Jan (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of an autonomous system for the measurement of the concentration of atmospheric ions. This is a new version of the already asembled Iontmeter by UTEE FEKT. Unlike the previous version, this new one should be completely independent of electrical network and configurable even without a PC. The design includes increased water and dust resistance, wireless transmission from the weather station and its own temperature, atmospheric pressure and relative humidity sensor.
Meteorological station system
Čada, Jan ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a online meteorological station system, which consists of individual weather stations that communicate via the Internet with the server. The first part of the thesis discusses the principles of measuring major meteorological variables and deals with the selection of suitable sensors for measuring temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, wind speed and rainfall. In the practical part, one of the weather stations based on Raspberry Pi Zero microcomputer is designed and realized. As a complement to the measured data, the station includes a camera that captures the view from the site where the meteostation is installed. 3D printing is used to realize most of the mechanical parts, it has the advantage of speed, accuracy and easy reproducibility. For the measurement of temperature, pressure and humidity, a combined sensor BME280 from Bosch is used, which is placed in a small Stevenson screen. The wind speed is measured by a cup anemometer whose rotation is sensed by an integrated Hall sensor. The output pulses are then counted using the PCF8583 circuit, which has an I2C interface for reading the values with a Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Special attention is paid to the construction of a custom calibratable tipping bucket rain gauge with a resolution of 0,5 mm, whose mechanical motion is also sensed by a Hall sensor as in the anemometer. The reading of the data from sensors and sending it to the server is handled by a Python script. For storing and presenting data to users, a custom server solution based on LAMP webserver is implemented, its source codes are written in PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. In addition to the web interface, which displays the data in graphs, the measured data can be also presented to the user via an application for mobile devices based on Android. The application was developed in C# using the Xamarin framework in the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. Among other things, it implements a widget for quick access to the measured values directly from the home screen. In the final part of the thesis, interesting findings obtained by observing the measured values are mentioned.
Wireless weather station
Filka, Tomáš ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a draft of wireless weather station, whose task is to measure basic values inside and outside the home. Measured variables are for example temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, wind speed and direction or concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2). These data will be transmitted to a web server for later processing. Possible technical solutions are described and the outcome is a designed printed circuit boards, which has been assembled and tested. Resulting system was tested in trial operation.
Simple FITkit Based Weather-Station
Podivínský, Jakub ; Mičulka, Lukáš (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis, the design and implementation of FITkit-based home weather-station is presented. In the thesis, various methods of measuring meteorological quantities are detailed and discussed together with advanteges and disadvantages of common electronic sensor parameters. Then, weather forecast methods are classified and principle of a simple weather-forecast algorithm based on the atmospheric pressure measurement and analysis is described and discussed according to its realization by the means of the FITkit platform. At the end of the thesis, design and realization of an additional hardware needed to operate the station on basis of FITkit is described.
Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Kotulek, Milan ; Štohanzl, Milan (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes a device for measuring and recording flight position RC model, which consist of a microcontroller and a pressure sensor. It measures values of atmosferic pressure and these data are convert by microcontroller to specific height. All is during flight saved to memory and later can be transferred to PC.
Datalogger or building constructions
Hendl, Adam ; Streit, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with automated measurement of temperature, humidity and pressure in building structures. In the section dedicated to my work is primarily a process as I progressed in implementing the task. The next section describes the parameters of the components used to implement the measurement and data storage. This work also includes a design of a printed circuit board that includes auxiliary and measuring circuits.
Weather measurement
Chovanec, Jan ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The achievement of this thesis is to design functional equipment which is able to measure the basic meteorological variables as air temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. In order to measure relative humidity completed with temperature, an intelligent sensor manufactured by Intersema Inc., MS5534B, was chosen. Relative humidity is measured by a capacitance sensor Humirel HS1101LF. The measured data are stored in anon-volatile memory. Data can be downloaded to a computer file via serial port or they can be online displayed on the computer screen via the wireless Bluetooth connection. Because the equipment is supposed to be used for the external measurement without the connection to electricity, low power consumption was considered as a most important parameter as well as good weather protection.
