Creation and Verification of a Set of Open-Air Games for University Students

The work presented in this master's project aims to create and verify a collection of games that can be played in nature by university students. The work uses the methods of content analysis, observation, comparative and synthesis. The analytical part of the work is assembled on the basis of a review of specialist literature on the importance of movement and movement of university students, after which the general significance of games is analysed together with the various ways in which they have been categorized by different authors. There is a description of the significance and the purpose of games played in nature and also the ways in which university students relate to the games. In the systematic review, a collection of games that can be played in nature is elaborated, with a detailed description of each of the games, including any modified versions. A feasibility study was carried out with students in the first year of their studies of Teaching for the 2nd Level of Elementary Schools specializing in physical education at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia, within the framework of their course in Hiking and Sports in Nature. The second verification group consisted of female students in the first year of their studies of Teaching for the 1st Level of Elemetary Schools at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia. The verification was carried out with their voluntary participation in Stromovka park. Then, in the systematic part of the work, an evaluation was made of each of the games in the collection, in which just two out of the total of twenty games were judged to be unsuccessful.
Characteristics of life style of police officers at the intervention unit of the Police in the Czech Republic in the town Czech Budweis

The thesis deals with the lifestyles of the police intervention unit members in České Budějovice. In the theoretical part there is a description of a history and creation of police intervention units and their main tasks in the Czech republic in general. Next the thesis describes main characteristics of individuals in the positon of a sniper, a diver, a negotiator and a pyrotechnician, including a description of a selection process before becoming a member of the Intervention unit in České Budějovice. Last but not least the thesis decribes determinants of healthy and active lifestyle. The answers concerning the lifestyle of the members of the Intervention unit in České Budějovice are evaluated in the practical part of the thesis.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic Difference in lifestyle change in men and women aged 40-50 years. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts typical for this issue focusing on history, development and newer trends, not just an active lifestyle. Further on the issue of eating disorders, such as bigorexia, bulimia, orthorexia. The practical part is focused on the input data of the examined subjects. Analysis of motives for visiting the fitness center

Author: Karolína Peterová Title: Analysis of motives leading to fitness center visits Objectives: The aim of the work is to introduce the issue of motivation for physical fitness and find out what motives lead people to visit fitness centers in order to perform physical activity. Respondents are divided into groups according to gender, age, completed education and type of employment. Within these groups, the individual motives are compared with each other. Furthermore, the work evaluates the level of respondents' own effectiveness for the area of physical activities, for the already mentioned groups. Methods: The method used for analysis of dominant motives was a questionnaire consisting of two standardized questionnaires: MPAM-R (Motives for Physical Activity Measure) and DOPA (E-SES in English - The Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale), supplemented by data: gender, age, completed education and type of employment. The questionnaires were distributed online via a link. Results: The results of the MPAM-R questionnaire show that the primary motive for most of groups is to improve physical fitness. Aesthetic motive is perceived by the respondents as a secondary motive, other strong motives are the motive of competence and interest. Perfect Body: Ethnography of Body in Gym Environment

This bachelor thesis focuses on world of the gym and its members. Its aim is to clarify how the gym shapes the body fitness and how its members perceive body image. This theme is viewed through several theoretical approaches, through mindful body, which is in the context of Nancy Scheper-Hughes and Margaret Lock perceived as individual, social and political body linked together. Furthermore habitus which in conjunction with the theory of Pierre Bourdieu explains environment that is specific for the gym and explains the characteristics of the gym, its culture which is gradually embodied into the bodies of its members. And finally, the gym environment which is understood through the theory of Ray Oldenburg and his third place. The research is based on participant observation of chosen gym. Also it was intensively complemented by research interviews with the gym's members. The analysis shows that this environment shapes the body and the perception of the body in several ways. By placing mirrors across the walls that urge to constant observing of one's body and the body of others, and therefore they tempt for comparison and evaluation. Mapping the lifestyle of 16-17-year-olds in Neratovice.

Title of the thesis: Mapping the lifestyle of 16-17-year-olds in Neratovice. Aim of the study: The thesis surveys the components of the lifestyle of young people in the Neratovice region, in the hope of influencing the state of health of the age group of 16-17 years. Method: The work is based on a sociological survey conducted in 2012 at two schools with different forms of tuition - a grammar school (gymnázium) and a vocational school (učiliště) in Neratovice. The research method was a poll. The polling had two stages: two pilot surveys on a sample of 149 respondents, and a study of 174 respondents. The final data were analyzed with respect to gender and the type of school using the Mann- Whitney U test. The survey questions were based on the questionnaire CAV 2001 for youth and the questionnaire "Determinanty účasti na cvičení" (University of Tasmania - FTK UP Olomouc). Results: The results of the survey show that boys are doing significantly better in physical activity (PA) and girls in physical inactivity (PI) and diet. Grammar school students are doing better in PA and they have a significantly better diet than vocational school students. As for PI, the results were similar for both groups. Title: Condition training in hotel fitness center Purpose: Main purpose of the compilation is to make a research about active lifestyle and to compare avilable informations from literature. I also focused on body exercise deficiency in today′s society and the function of fitness center. The objective of my work is to evaluate the goals and preferences of the fitness center clients. Method: In my work I analyzed scientific publications and compared avilable opinions and informations of the specialists engaged in reasearch of active and helathy lifestyle, insufficiency of body exercise and possible health complications connected to those issues. Proposal of adventure sports complex in the village Štěchovice

Title: Proposal of adventure sports complex in the village Štěchovice Objectives: The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design an adventure sports complex in the village Štěchovice. This can be achieved by careful placing of individual elements to attract and persuade people to spend their leisure time actively. This adventure sports complex should be suitable not only for children, but also for adults and seniors. Methods: During creation of this bachelor thesis, there was used a descriptive analysis of documents, various written materials, websites and links. There was also used another method - field investigation (to find a suitable space for the realization of the project in Štěchovice and exploration of nearby surroundings for any running or cycling trails). Results: The result of this bachelor thesis is a project that contains two proposals of adventure sports complex in the village Štěchovice. The proposal will serve as a basis for possible implementation of the project. The results of the analysis of documents can be used in the future for creating similar facilities in the Czech republic. The analysis of leisure-time physical activities of the selected sample of high school students

The thesis is focused on leisure-time activities structure of high school students, with an emphasis on physical activity. In the theoretical part are elaborated chapters concerning the definition of leisure-time, physical activity and adolescence, describes negative impacts of hypokinesia and presents the basic information about procject COMPASS. The researsch study is focused on physical activities of adolescents in their leisure-time context. The data found from respondents (n=425) was registred via stadardized sociological questionnaire COMPASS. The aim of the study was find out gender and age differences in the structure of leisure-time physical activities of high school students. The results shows, that almost 85% of adolescents regulary participate in at least one sport or another type of physical activity in leisure time. Gender has bigger influence on differences in the leisure-time structure than the age. This study shows that physical activities are substantial part of leisure-time of adolescents.
