The Press Line Optimization Design
Tokoš, Juraj ; Bartošek, Vladimír (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on analyzing the current state of the press line and proposing its optimization using simulation. The theoretical part is dedicated to production processes and lean manufacturing methods. In the analytical part, the company in question is introduced. This is followed by an analysis of the current state of the production line. The design section describes variants of simulation models of both the current and optimized process forms and evaluates the benefits of the proposed solution.
Process Optimization in the Company
Hraško, Filip ; Gruševoj, Nikolaj (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with process improvement at the final assembly workplace of ABB, an electrical engineering company engaged in the production of instrument transformers. The first part of the thesis presents the methods and theoretical foundations that are used in the later parts of the thesis. In the analytical part, the company ABB is first introduced and then the production process is analysed, followed by a detailed analysis of the processes at the final assembly workplace. The design part focuses on the elimination of waste in the final assembly workplace using lean manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methods. The aim of the proposals is to reduce waste and thus achieve savings.
Design of assembly workplace
Morysová, Lucie ; Jurová, Marie (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce several proposals aiming to improve upon a selected assembly workplace manufacturing scientific instruments using some of the lean manufacturing tools. The analytical part contains the analysis of the assembly workplace’s layout. An additional method used is an analysis of the time complexity of the assembly workplace which is measured by a selected worker using a pedometer. The result of this thesis are specific proposal variations aiming to improve upon a selected assembly workplace.
DESIGN AND APLICATION OF COLLABORATION ROBOTS ACCORDING OF I4.0
Salaj, Jakub ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Presented bachelor’s thesis deals with collaborative robots and their application in manufacturing with a focus on the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a system analysis of the robotization of production processes by collaborative robots was carried out, as well as a system analysis of cobots as a technological system and the requirements that are set by the relevant standards for their safe operation. In the literature review, a range of design solutions offered by three major manufacturers of cobots and end effectors were demonstrated. The main research objective was to describe successful implementations in practical manufacturing applications. A sub-objective of this thesis was to evaluate the cobot workplace in the context of Industry 4.0. The evaluated workplace was a station for measuring the electric resistance of the fuel-filter during its production, whose operation was described and evaluated by means of a SWOT analysis. In the conclusion of the thesis, based on the obtained findings, an overall evaluation of the monitored issue and recommendations for its further development were formulated.
Manufacturing process in the automotive industry
Černohous, Šimon ; Jurová, Marie (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on modification of assembly line at the company Panasonic Automotive Systems Czech s. r. o. for sole purpose of increasing productivity while lowering costs. Theoretical part firstly defines principles and methods used in thesis. Analytical part introduces a company, but mainly describes the data, which will be used later. Proposition part is used to outline of individual change, that have been made.
The Project of Lean Manufacturing and Implementation
Matějíček, Marek ; Kadlček, Ludvík (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about lean production and its implementation in the company Alca plast, s.r.o. in Břeclav, which deals with the production of sanitary technology. Thanks to the theoretical knowledge of lean production, we will design a new concept of lean manufacturing. Using the analyzes that will be used in the work, we will set the course of lean manufacturing to be as fluid and effective as possible.
Rational layout of the assembly line in the pre-manufacturing stage and Lean principles
Škrdla, Michal ; Bernát, Michal (referee) ; Strejček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the current state of assembly workplace for prefabrication in selected company. Using lean manufacturing principles it describes and subsequently eliminating all forms of waste that occur in the workplace. Part of the project is to design a new layout of the manufacturing cell, operation balancing and standardize the work of operators in the process. The project aims to achieve the planned production volumes at the same or lower operating costs.
Proposal and set up of material flow standards for selected components from 3 product groups in the Edwards company and their subsequent analysis
Zapletal, Petr ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
This thesis deals with setting standards of material flow and its optimization according to the principles of lean production at Edwards Ltd. The first part is devoted to theoretical introduction to the problems of logistics and lean manufacturing with a brief description of their tools. Then, it is made introduction of company Edwards and analyse of current state of the material flow. In the last part of the thesis it is proposed steps, which should lead to efficiency and standardization of material flow.
