Speech Acts Performed by Information Technology Students in Online Debates

Cílem této bakalářské práce je vymezit koncept řečových aktů a diskutovat problematiku související s jejich interakčními aspekty v argumentativních diskuzích. Teoretická část práce je psána formou literární rešerše, počínaje vysvětlením základní terminologie řečových aktů a definováním ilokuční síly a jejích ukazatelů. Dále srovnává tři různé přístupy k analýze řečových aktů a popisuje jejich rolí v rámci modelu kritické diskuze. Analytická část práce se zaměřuje na praktickou aplikaci teoretických konceptů. Představuje pravidla online debat, popisuje jejich fáze a poskytuje analýzu intenzifikátorů a modalizátorů a řečových aktů na základě transkriptů debat. Výsledky analýzy jsou zobrazeny v tabulkách, doplněny ilustrativními příklady a následně diskutovány.

Operational Evaluation of the Small Photovoltaic Power Plants Connected to the LV network

The objective of this thesis is to perform practical measurements of two small photovoltaic power plants, compare the received results with a theoretical calculation, and evaluate how the two differ from each other. Measured data are divided into three groups. The first group evaluates an overall electric power production in the individual months and compares it with the theoretical presumption that is instrumental to a return of investment calculation. The second group shows us a development of electric power production during characteristic days. We can compare how an ideal day from the FVE production point of view looks like, in other words a sunny and clear-sky day, with the opposite case when it is cloudy and raining all day long. Another extreme is a rapid growth or a performance drop, which can happen in a pho-tovoltaic power plant and a time period when this situation can arise. The third group contains statistic data from the electric power production. They are processed in the form of histograms and polygons of production that graphically illustrate production decomposition into the individual months. These data can be instrumental to a decision making about the form of purchase, whether it is economical for us to use the so called green bonus or not.

This thesis deals with the elaboration and registration of reporting failures on machinery equipment during performance of works operational maintenance support team. Software is tested in operation at Honeywell Brno. The aim of this thesis is to design software in Excel VBA development environment that can manage statistically and graphically present the results of usability machinery.

Persuasive Language Used in Presentations by Information Technology Students

Cílem této práce je vymezit koncept rétoriky a persuasivního jazyka. Práce začíná rétorickou analýzou a definuje rétorickou situaci. Dále poskytuje informace o umění přesvědčování, jeho historii a použití. Těžištěm práce je přehled charakteristických persuasivních prostředků, který se zaměřuje nejen na používání persuasivních jazykových struktur, ale také specifickou slovní zásobu. Analytická část této práce převádí teorii do praxe prostřednictvím podrobné analýzy a srovnání persuasivních prostředků používaných studenty informačních technologií v odborných prezentacích. Zabývá se persuasivními strategiemi, jakými jsou emoční důraz v řeči, používání osobních zájmen, spojovací výrazy, trojice slov nebo lichocení.

Analysis of an individual skill - passing through the opponent

Title: Analysis of an individual skill - passing through the opponent Objectives: The objective of this thesis is the analysis of the individual skill, namely passing through the opponent in a selected group of the Champions League. Methods: In my thesis to obtain data I used the method of indirect observation of selected matches that were available to me based on video recordings. I analyzed individual matches into record sheets. This analysis is focused on the individual skill, namely passing through the opponent. Results: The overall frequency of passsing through the opponent for the teams Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and FC Barcelona was significantly higher compared to the team Viktoria Plzeň. Viktoria Plzeň's overall success rate was significantly lower than the other teams in the group. The overall failure to lose the ball for Viktoria Plzeň was significantly higher than the other teams. The players of Viktoria Plzeň recorded a significantly lower frequency of offensive duels 1versus2+ in comparison with the other teams. The overall frequency of attempts to pass through the opponent in the penalty area was significantly higher for the other teams compared to Viktor Plzeň's team. Reasons and Frequency of Ventilatory Circuit Disconnection in Patients on Artificial Pulmonary Ventilation

The thesis deals with the reasons for disconnecting the ventilation circuit and the frequency of individual causes. It is part of a broader and more comprehensive study whose common goal is to combat ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). The theoretical part of the thesis briefly describes the definition of VAP and its preventive elements. However, it highlights the conflict between manufacturers' recommendations and the results of the latest studies regarding the interval for replacing individual components of the ventilation circuit. Furthermore, it draws attention to the limited and insufficient emphasis placed on this issue both in the theoretical sphere and in clinical practice. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of the conducted observation, whose main objective is to identify the most common cause of ventilation circuit disconnection. The assumption was a high proportion of the frequency of replacing individual circuit components,especiallythe passive heat and moisture exchanger,which was confirmed by the results of the research survey. Title: The representation of economic sectors among the partners of Czech professional sport with a focus on the gambling and alcohol industry Objectives: The primary objective of the thesis is to conduct a survey focused on the industrial composition of partners supporting professional sports entities with representation in the highest competitions of Czech sport. Thus, the thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the composition of industries supporting Czech professional sport. The thesis also aims to provide a more detailed look at a group of controversial areas of the economy that are often integral to sports partnerships. Methods: The method of sequential collection of virtual data from primary sources, i.e. official websites of the included sports entities, is used. The whole process is carried out within Microsoft Excel, where all sports entities with their listed partners are recorded, which are always assigned the relevant partnership type and the corresponding defined industry sector. In the same program, the resulting statistics are then prepared and represent the official output of the thesis.
