Digital communication of Czech Olympic Committee during Olympic Games

Following thesis is focused on analysing digital communications of Czech Olympic Committee - a national committee aiming to develop and disseminate the Olympic ideals and to represent and ensure the participation of the Czech Republic at the Olympics. It is also one of the most important subject in the Czech sport. The main task of the thesis is to analyse all digital communications of Czech Olympic committee during the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 through social networks, break down all the available data to create a comprehensive summary and based on it create more effective recommendations for digital communication during the Olympic Games in PyeongChang 201. The theoretical part introduces the reader with general information about marketing and Public Relations. Section further maps the development of communication, its forms and familiarizes readers with the most used social networks of today. The practical part describes in general communication of Czech Olympic Committee during the Olympic Games in Rio, its forms and its main objectives. The digital channels provide accurate data, which will be used as base upon the preparation of a summary analysis. Title: Marketing plan of a non-profit organization Sporťáček. Objectives: The goal of this bachelor work is to create a marketing plan that could be used as a guide for marketing activities of the organization in the year 2018. Another goal is to find out via analysis, where the deficits of currently used marketing activities are and what needs to be achieved in the following year. Next step is to suggest new strategies, which would fulfil stated marketing goals. Methods: Document analysis and participated observations were used for getting secondary data. The PEST analysis was carried out by evaluating the probability of impact and occurrence of the chosen factors. The competition analysis was based on comparison according to particular criteria. Results: The PEST analysis answered questions such as which external global aspects influence the company the most at this moment and also predicted their future development. The competition analysis showed, that the biggest threat for the organization are local organizers of events with the same purpose and same location of the event. Their advantage is a bigger support from the local sports clubs and also from local governments. Title: Marketing research on parents' behaviour of ice hockey children players Goals: The main goal of this thesis is to discover the key attitudes of parents of children aged 7-10 years, with the emphasis on the parent - player and parent - trainer relationship. The thesis also focuses on the parents' expectations on ice hockey management from the child's point of view, and parents' role in the training process. Conclusion sets up general advices for the Czech Ice Hockey Association. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative methods were used for the marketing research and the collection of the data. It is writing questionnaire method, observations and individual semi-structured interviews. It is a primary data. The results are clearly summarized into tables and graphs. Title: A comparison of the organizational structures of the Czech and Slovak baseball federations Objectives: The main objectives of this bachelor thesis are to obtain and analysis the data regarding the organizational structures two different national federations of baseball and their economic results from 2016. After analysis and comparison of data, recommendation for their improvement are proposed. There it was important to focus on their diversity, and then compare the competences and activities of each section. Based on the information received, the thesis contains proposals for innovations in both federations. Methods: The main method of collecting data for this thesis, was studying the legislative and publicly available documents of both organizations, and deep interviews with high-ranking members of the board for both organizations. A voice recorder was used for the interviews. In the next part of the thesis I used comparison analysis. The comparison includes the spread of structures, number of organizational levels, activities and delegation of authority, and the competencies of each section, as well as a percentage budget statement. Marketing research of Umbro brand value on the football equipment market

Title: Marketing research of Umbro brand value on the football equipment market. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to find out how football equipment consumers percieve the value of the Umbro brand. Another objectives included identifying the position of the Umbro brand in comparison to other brands, to determine its strenghts and weaknesses and suggest measures that could lead to increasing the brand's value in the consumers' eyes. Methods: This thesis uses the method of quantitative research. First, it was necessary to collect primary data for this research. Electroning questioning was used to collect such data. The selection of the respondents was done by partially influenced selection. The sample size was defined to at least eighty respondents. Results: The research showed that 78% of respondents have personal experience with football equipment of Umbro brand. It was also found out that product quality and funcionality were the two top rated criteria of Umbro products. This criteria were also among the two most important when it came to customers' preference when buying football equipment. Title: The position of Air Jordan brand on the market Aim: The purpose of this thesis is to design measures that would improve the position of Air Jordan brand on the czech market with basketball equipment. These measures are based on analyses of public opinion. Methods: The research itself is based on the method of sociological field investigation. The data were collected by a structured questionnaires followed by analyses. Results: On the purpose of public opinion were detected shortages and disadvantages in comparison with the nearest competitors at the same market. The proposal was based on purpose of dealing with those shortages, with possibilities of realisation and suitable to smaller czech market.

Title: Marketing research of motivation to attendance of fans FK Dukla Praha on matches. Objectives: The main target of this thesis is to reveal the cause of low attendance at local matches of FC Dukla Praha, based on marketing research. Methods: Marketing research consists of qualitative methods. For acquiring the necessary data, methods of electronic questionnaire, personal enquiry and interview were used. FC Dukla Praha fans inquiry was conducted by a method of electronic questionnaire on server Vyplňto.cz. During FC Dukla Praha fans motivation factor measurement, a part of Al-Thibiti (2004) questionnaire was used. The people enquiry was conducted by a method of personal enquiry. The interview was conducted as an in-depth individual talk supervised by Ing. Vladimír Šmíro, marketing manager. The statistics analysis was implemented for the gained data interpretation. Results: The results of this research revealed many reasons that lead to descending number of the audience of FC Dukla Praha matches. The most serious ones are unsuitable terms and times of the matches, the whole generation of FC Dukla Praha fans outflow, unsuitable premises, quality of performances and difficult access to the pitch/stadium.
