Title of the thesis: The influence of exercise on subjective perception of our own body in participants of the Feldenkrais method course Aims of the thesis: The aim of this thesis was to deepen the theoretical knowledge of the Feldenkrais method, the basic anatomy of the cervical spine and the construction of the eye. Furthermore, the aim was to clarify the connection of eye movements and cervical spine, and define cervicoocular reflex, vestibuloocular reflex and whiplash syndrome. Then apply this knowledge and explain how one lesson of the Feldenkrais method affects the subjective perception of our own body, and how it can affect the magnitude of the cervical spine ranges. Method: It is a quantitative, experimental research. In the first part of the research, the questionnaire of own design monitored the effect of one lesson of the Feldenkrais method on the subjective perception of our own body in a group of 56 people aged 24 to 79 years, the lesson took part during a three-day course. In the second part of the research, the effect of one Feldenkrais method focused on the movement of eyes and cervical spine was studied in a group of 20 people aged 19 to 27 years. Impact of a guide dog on the quality of life of its owner

Title: The impact of a guide dogs on the quaity of its owner Goal: The purpose of this bachelor work is to find out how the guide dog ownership can affect its owner. The work is firmly focused on social participation and the activity options according to the ICF legislation, 2001. Methodology: The data collected in this research are classified as qualitative. Furthermore, the information collection was carried out by a self-created questionnaire, provided to fifteen participants. The survey was completed by 25 questions, varied by three categories (open, closed and open-ended). In the second research period of data selection, a half-structured interview was attended by two interviewees. The attendants were guide dogs owners with a visual impairment. Results: In both cases, the interviewees selected yes as an answer. They agree that a guide dog affects social participation alongside the activity options for people with a visual impairment. Guide dog positively responds on making new contacts with others, a better communication. Owners feel safe, relaxed and satisfied. Also, according to the results we received, the dog means a specific stimulation in the activity completion. Condition training in patients after spinal cord injuries

Title: Conductive training in individuals after spinal lesions Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is the positive influence of fitness training plan for people with sleep lesions to improve their physical condition. The secondary aim is to examine the subjective attitudes of probands to the conditional program, according to Feldenkreis's satisfaction questionnaire supplemented with a written probanda assessment. Methods: In the framework of a quantitative and qualitative research, 4 probands were monitored in the form of case studies after a spinal lesion participating in a reconditioning stay at the Paraple Center. The average proband age was 45 years. In probands an initial examination was performed and a monthly training session with an instructor was carried out. To evaluate the effect, the following methods were used: observation, bodystat assessment by Bodystat and assessment of physical fitness on a rowing and cross-country trainer. Results: All proband monitors achieved a slight improvement in bodystat scores evaluated by the Bodystat instrument: decreasing body fat in percent and increasing the proportion of active body mass. The influence of the health compensation program on postural stability and other selected aspects in persons with unilateral transfemoral amputation

Title: The influence of medically focused compensating program on postural stability and other selected aspects on patients with unilateral transfemoral amputation. Objectives: Goal of this research was to find out if medically focused compensating program would have any influence on postural stability of unilateral, transfemoral amputees. As next objective, it was studied if any intervention would have any significant influence on changes in shape or physiology of the foot or if there would be any anomalies in tests of the functions of the leg muscles. Methods: Research group consisted of four participants (3 men and 1 woman by the mean age of 44,5 years). Participants undergone intervention in the form of medically focused compensation program, which went on for 8 weeks. Before the start of the program as well as after the end of the program the objective measuring tests were conducted. These tests consisted of measuring the postural stability of the participants and shape of the foot with FootScan device (RSscan International). Title: Using of SM system for people with spinal cord injury Objectivities: The objective of this work was to choose and modify exercises suitable for people with spinal cord injury and to practice them in the Centrum Paraple. The next goal was to determine if the SM system is eligible as health exercise and compensation of all day sitting for people with spinal cord injury. The other objective was to compare results of people with spinal cord injury with results of healthy group to determine if they react the same or different. Methods: 8 probands, 3 women and 5 men, 5 quadriplegics and 3 paraplegics, with the average age 54, participated in ten 50 minutes lessons. Within the research the data was acquired with opening examination, opening questionnaire, final questionnaire and interview and observation during each lesson. The pain of the musculoskeletal system and its improvement, reactions of probands to SM system and subjective evaluation of muscle involvement while exercising was determined. Also, the control group of healthy woman was established, who completed one questionnaire, witch data was collated with the data of the last questionnaire for probands. Title: Changing attitudes of primary school pupils to integration after completing a two- month "Life with Disabilities" programme. Objective: The main aim of the thesis is to explore various possibilities of influencing primary school pupils attitudes to integration of a pupil with disabilities into physical education lessons. Method: Using the CAIPE - CZ and Adjective - Checklist questionnaires a qualitative- quantitative research has been applied to observe a change in primary school pupils' attitude to integration into the physical education lessons once a two-month "Life with Disabilities" programme was completed. A series of topical areas has been presented not only in health education lessons, but also in physical education lessons. The programme also included several sporting events taking place outside the school building and a Paralympic school day. A two-group quasi-experiment research group was formed by the 7th (headcount: 20; average age: 12) and 9th (headcount: 24; average age: 15) years of primary school. Title: The effect of using massage techniques on the mental state of pregnant women Objectives: The objective of this bachelor thesis was to observe the effect of periodical massages of the neck, conducted over a period of three months, on the mental state of pregnant women and on pain and muscle tension in the area of the neck. Methods: The surveyed group in this bachelor thesis consisted of 12 healthy women in their second trimester of pregnancy, between the ages of 22-38, six of which were in the research group with intervention and six of which were in the control group without intervention. The intervention consisted of a series of 6 light 20 minute massages, once every two weeks, over a period of 3 months. The effect of the intervention was monitored with the help of a visual analog scale (VAS) before the massage, immediately after the massage, and one day after the massage, a POMS questionnaire at the beginning and end of the experiment, and a written reflection in the form of a questionnaire with open questions after the completion of the experiment. Title: Effects of therapeutic physical education program on body posture in the elderly Objectives: Demonstrate effect of yoga exercises, breathing exercises, Feldenkrais method, and others stretching exercises on Upper Crossed Syndrome in group of seniors Methods: This bachelor thesis has a quasi-experimental character. It is a quality research of empirical character. The research group included six female retirees. Age average - 75,2 years. Observation postural assessment by Klein, Thomas and Mayer, Cramptons tests and Matthias test were the main methods of the research. Structure of this intervention was based on yoga exercises, breathing exercises, Feldenkrais method and others stretching exercises in range of 8 lessons. Results: The results of this study confirms the influence of therapeutic physical education program on Upper Crossed Syndrome in group of seniors. In physical intervention which took 8 weeks were found positives results by: observation postural assessment by Klein, Thomas and Mayer 6 of 8 tested persons, in Cramptons tests only 1 of 6 positives results and in Matthias test were found 5 of 6 positive changes. Title: Prevention of Movement Disorders in Strength Training Objectives: Analysis of selected strength exercises based on a theoretical overview with proposal of a possible correction of movement disorders prevention. Methods: The final thesis has the character of a qualitative study. For its elaboration have been used the form of a theoretic-critical analysis. It is an overview of available literature of all kinds published on the topic. Based on the theoretical knowledge, an analysis of selected strength exercises was carried out and a possible correction for the movement disorders prevention was created.
