Identification of the Educational Needs of Kindergarten Directors

This diploma thesis focuses on the educational needs of educators in leadership positions on whom increasingly higher demands are placed, resulting from changes in society, which are reflected in the transformations of schools. It points out the urgent need to identify the current educational needs of kindergarten directors, to adapt the range of education available to their needs and thus create the basis for systematic, life-long education. The work is based on theoretical knowledge, professional literature, legal requirements, competences and other fields and activities which form the basis for educational needs of directors. It explains terminology used in education and identifies the current state in the continuing education of school directors. It offers various methods and forms of continuing education. The thesis also contains a research section focusing on kindergarten directors. It provides information on their approach to continuing education, their specific educational needs, identifies gaps in currently available range of offered courses and looks into their motivation to further self-education. Comparison of managerial competencies headmaster and manager in the commercial sector

Final thesis presents a comparison of managerial competencies of headmaster of elementary school with middle management manager in the commercial sector in the area of leadership. The issue is based on experience, knowledge and skills of the current headmasters of the primary schools and middle management managers within their managerial competencies. The aim of the work and chosen qualitative research using of methodology "shadowing", which comes from all day observable behavior is to compare specific managerial skills among primary school headmaster and manager of middle management in the commercial sector in area of leadership. By comparison of the specific managerial competencies we will be able to compare the level, purpose and importance of the specific managerial competencies to the primary school headmaster and manager of middle management of the commercial sector. During the research has been used an interview, which has been followed after several observed situations of concrete behavior of the headmaster of the elementary school and middle management manager in the commercial sector. Mentoring of School

This thesis describes a method for the introduction of mentoring in schools. Mentoring is presented in this thesis as a possible concept of co-operation of teacher and student. In the theoretical part of thesis are defined pedagogy and didactics as the primary areas in which to carry out basic educational processes in which there is a development of the human personality. Basic educational processes in this thesis are understood as education and training and the primary outcome of these educational processes is competence. The area of education is described by educational targets, principles and forms, resources, processes and activities. The teacher and the student are actors in the educational process. Another area of theoretical part of the work is the definition and description of mentoring as a possible tool in educational practice. Family constellation of Headmasters

This Diploma thesis examines the issue of family constellations school directors. It explores the family constellation directors of different types of schools. Starts from the premise that school heads comes from a similar initial family environment and that there is no difference between family constellations directors of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Basic starting point has become from research results of family constellations school principals in the Czech Republic, which uncover their characteristics.The theoretical part of the thesis starts with an explanation of basic terms, as well as maps of the individual differences-influence of heredity, family, education and environment. It also discusses the analysis of family constellations and their impact on the conduct and behavior of man. The research is based on a mixed research design. There is included both qualitative and quantitative phase of research. The entire research work is kept aim the work and research questions. Implementation of the Man and Nature in the SEP of Grammar Schools from the perspective of manager

Final thesis analyzes some managerial skills SEP coordinators in the implementation of the Man and Nature to School Education Programmes. Verifies whether and to what extent the targeted use of managerial skills coordinators SEP especially from the perspective of communication. The work is based on the management theory of leadership. It uses the theoretical knowledge of the process of creation and effective functioning team. Another starting point for the documents related to curriculum reform in secondary schools in the Czech Republic. With the help of controlled structured interviews and additional survey was able to chart above issues and show some "best practices" applicable in other schools.
