Tolerance in a multicultural societytraining

The aim of this thesis is to examine a degree of tolerance of students of selected secondary schools in the region to ethnic communities. It encounters and considers factors that affect and shape their attitudes. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with analysing and explaining of these terms - multicultural society, development of multicultural society, migration, ethnic community, characteristics of ethnic communities in the Czech Republic, culture, and traditions, coexistence with ethnic communities and integration. In the research part, it concerns with processing of survey attitudes of high school students from ethnic communities, with a focus on the Islamic community, and the current immigration crisis. The investigation focuses on the personal attitudes of students and their knowledge, both through multicultural education at school and through the media and social networks, which now play a major role in shaping the attitudes of young people. The research is completed with short case studies based on open-question questionary Finally, it presents some examples from multicultural education at high school and its contribution to shaping values and attitudes of students. Education system in the Czech republic and in Kingdom of Spain

The aim of the thesis is to compare the educational systems of two European states with different state institutions, history and current political-historical situation. The work will be of comparative character and will be based mainly on the work with the studied literature. The work will use both Czech and Spanish literature. The main benchmarking tool will be the International Standard Classification of Education at ISCED 2011. In the practical part, this classification will be applied to both education systems, and at the end of each level of education there will be comparisons. The result will be a simultaneous evaluation and comparison of the education system of the Kingdom of Spain and the Czech Republic. History of The Grammar School in Nymburk in the context of the secondary education development.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to capture the history of secondary education and, at the same time, to link this historical development to a particular secondary school - Bohumil Hrabal Gymnasium in Nymburk. The introductory part describes the beginnings of the formation of grammar schools in our state territory. It focuses on education reforms during the Enlightenment. The second part describes the events of the 20th century. It also includes the establishment of a secondary school in Nymburk, periods of the First and Second World Wars, Prague Spring 1968, normalization period and events after 1989. The final part focuses on contemporary life in school, celebrating the establishment of the school, an overview of famous graduates and circumstances of changing the name of the school. The work also contains the testimony of witnesses - graduates and teachers.
