Svobodová, Lucie ; Shavit, Anna (advisor) ; Konrádová, Marcela (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the voting behaviour of Generation Z in the Czech Republic. It aims to explore what Generation Z's key values and concerns are and how they engage with politics. Understanding the issues that are important for Generatoion Z is crucial for politicians to be able to represent their interests more effectively. The theoretical part describes political psychology, the key factors influencing voting behaviour and models explaining voting behaviour. Next, Generation Z is defined. This is followed by the practical part, which is divided into two parts. The first part of the research is conducted through in-depth interviews among representatives of Generation Z. In the interviews, the respondents describe their priorities in life, their greatest concerns and their political participation. Respondents are most concerned about their finances, climate change and the political situation related to the threat of war. The interviews also revealed that excessive monitoring of world events has a negative impact on respondents' mental health. All respondents are interested or want to be interested in politics. They are satisfied with the president, but the current government does not represent their interests as they would imagine. The second part of the research is conducted using...
Determination of vibality of rhizobacterial cultures
Svobodová, Lucie ; Slaninová, Eva (referee) ; Obruča, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the study of viability of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). Viability was determined in three strains of Azotobacter vinelandii, namely CCM 289, DSM 87 and DSM 720, using flow cytometry with fluorescent probe PI, SYTOXTM Blue and DAPI after 120 and 72 hours of cultivation. Optimization of the appropriate fluorescent probe for the strain was performed, with the PI probe for strain CCM 289 being the most suitable. PI and SYTOXTM Blue probes can be used for strains DSM 87 and DSM 720. For the following experiments, strain DSM 87 was selected and subjected to the influence of different crosslinking reagents. Using a flow cytometer and staining with a fluorescent PI probe, the viability was verified after application of calcium chloride, barium, copper, ferric, aluminium and calcium sulphate solutions of 2, 0.2 and 0.02 wt. % to the culture. Calcium chloride, barium and calcium sulfate solutions had no significant effect on cell viability. On the other hand, when ferric chloride was used, a trend was observed where dead cells decreased with decreasing concentration of the solutions. This effect was also achieved with aluminium and copper chloride, but the use of the most concentrated solution resulted in the inactivation of a greater number of cells than in the previous case, whereas aluminium chloride resulted in the loss of viability of most of the cells present. Viability was also verified for cells released from the prepared gels. For the experiments, solutions of the aforementioned crosslinking agents were chosen at a concentration of 2 wt.%, and the culture was subjected to gelation under the experimentally determined conditions. A portion of the gels was subsequently left in phosphate buffer to allow for the re-release of cells. To facilitate this release, the enzyme alginase was added to break down the alginate. It was found that a concentration of 2 wt % of the selected crosslinking agents did not affect cell viability, i.e., the cells released from the gel appeared to be viable.

Air conditioning area of the car showroom
Svobodová, Leona ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with shielding elements in the theoretical, project and experimental level. The theoretical part describes the variants of building shading and compares individual shading elements. It explains several concepts from the field of environmental technology, which are related to the topic. The design part deals with the air conditioning of the showroom space with a specific indoor environment. The space has a flush facade, so it has a high heat load. This is a showroom for veterans, where it is necessary to maintain optimal constant hu-midity throughout the year. An air conditioning unit was designed for these needs. The experimental part describes the measurement of the values of the shielding factor of external blinds for individual slopes of slats. The measurement results are applied to the reference room and the dependence between the inclination of the slats and the energy demand for space cooling is evaluated by the software.
Air conditioning in multifunctional center
Svobodová, Leona ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis is the design of air-conditioning equipment in a multifunctional centre. The devices serve a multifunctional hall and a room with over-head, the lighting and the sound. The units are designed in a way to meet all the hygienical, operational and functional requirements and to create optimal in-door microclimatic conditions for people to stay. There were used all the available budget calculations, applicable regulations and standards for this design. The air-conditioning provides a supply of fresh air and conducting of depreciated air, cov-erage of heat losses, removal of heat load and humidification of air. The theoreti-cal part deals with the system of return gaining of heat and describes advantages and disadvantages of every device enabling.
Linking technical and natural infrastructure to climate change in cities
Svobodová, Lenka ; Hyánková,, Eva (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis is focused on linking technical and natural infrastructures in cities with respect to climate change. Various means of growing plants are presented by introducing urban farming. In the first, theoretical section, climate change is claimed to be a global threat for human kind which is more and more visible in cities. Many examples of adaptation and mitigation of climate change in cities are displayed. In the second, practical section, one existing technical measure from Brno city is examined – difference between technical and natural infrastructure is demonstrated. Finally, calculation method for environment-friendly crops growing, not only for cities, is introduced.
