Rheology of hyaluronane solutions
Communication and its Role in Distance Education in Elementary Schools
Soukupová, Lenka ; Strouhal, Martin (advisor) ; Komárková, Tereza (referee)
Teoretická část práce shromáždí analýzy odborné literatury. Na základě těchto analýz budou vyložena určující pojetí komunikace, výuky, vzdělávání a dalších jevů, která konstituují proces vyučování žáků na základní škole. Dále budou podrobně popsány i postupy a výhody či nevýhody on-line vzdělávání.
Geomorphological evolution of the Hřebeny Ridge in Brdy
Soukupová, Lenka ; Kalvoda, Jan (advisor) ; Balatka, Břetislav (referee)
4 ABSTRACT The main aims of presented study about the geomorphology of the Hřebeny Ridge in Brdy Mts. are 1/ the documentation of landform patterns and 2/ the description of main stages of the relief evolution. In opening chapters of the paper, the natural envi- ronments of the Hřebeny Ridge and Brdy Mts. as a whole are characterized. In the fol- lowing chapter, a reflection of the geological structure in present-day landforms is de- scribed. Landform analysis of the studied region related to climate-morphogenetic pro- cesses is presented and detailed geomorphological map (1:10 000) is enclosed. Final part of the study is concerned with main stages of the landform evolution of the Hřebeny Ridge. Field observation and its geomorphological interpretation are compared with earlier regional studies. The presented paper demonstrates that landforms of the Hřebeny Ridge in Brdy Mts. are determined by the geological structure, e.g. by the geomorphological resistance of rocks. Present-day landforms of the Hřebeny Ridge evolved in the Quaternary. Im- portant processes of the landform evolution of the region are connected with the origin of deep river valleys. The landform patterns of the ridge part and its slopes are essential- ly influenced by the Pleistocene cryogenic weathering of rocks as well as very intensive...
In conversation with Norman Fairclough : introducing neoliberalism into the television policy of the Labour Party in the UK, 1992-1997
Soukupová, Lenka ; Rovná, Lenka (advisor) ; Vochocová, Lenka (referee)
- 62 - 8. SUMMARY The thesis deals with the television policy of the Labour Parry, 1992-1997. The topic works as a framework for interpretation of Norman Fairclough's concepts, applying his transdisciplinary approach and Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). Within the framework, I answer simple questions such as whether discourse that had reached the status of policy can have real economic impact (in the case of Campaign for Press and Broadcasting not) or where the global discourse meets the local (issues of cross media ownership and new technologies). In my quest to better understand the relationship between social change and discourse, I follow the history of deregulation of the broadcasting duopoly, the way of the Labour Party towards deregulation and in the light of this information analyse three different texts and shortly follow up on coherence in the 1992 and 1997 Labour and Conservative manifestos. To conclude, I appreciate the wide academic freedom that discourse and its interconnectivity provides. As discourses can influence society, a free society should understand and participate in its discourses. In Labour Party television policy, the participation was certainly not complete.

TITLE: Forms and procedures for implementation of the education of hearing disabled children and pupils AUTHOR: Lenka Soukupová, DiS. DEPARTMENT: Special Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Eva Mrkosová, CSc. ABSTRACT: My graduation work is focused on hearing disabled children. I describe the methods we can use for education of these children. In the theoretical part I describe the organ of hearing, degrees of hearing failures and defects, some explorations, which can be used for hearing disabled people, some compensation instruments for them like various types of hearing aid, cochlear implantation… Then I describe speech upbringing of hearing disabled children, the way of communication between mother with her child and the communicative technics which are used by hearing disabled people. In the practical part I describe how teachers work with these children, which methods and forms of education they use it and what are children's reactions. KEYWORDS: - hearing disabled children, compensation instruments - hearing aid, cochlear implantation, speech upbringing, communicative technics
Weathering of arsenopyrite in soils in acidified environment
Soukupová, Lenka ; Mihaljevič, Martin (advisor) ; Drahota, Petr (referee)
Lenka Soukupová, Zvětrávání arsenopyritu v lesních půdách v acidifikovaném prostředí SUMMARY The weathering of arsenopyrite (FeAsS) has been studied at the experimental site Načetín in the Ore Mountains, Czech Republic. There were chosen three areas with different vegetation (beech, spruce a unforested areas) at this site. The arsenopyrite samples were placed in all soil horizons (litter, horizons A, B and C for forest areas; horizons A, B and C for unforested area), where they were exposed to ambient conditions for one year. After one-year weathering, the newly formed secondary minerals were identified and the rate of surface oxidation was determined, both depending on the environment of oxidation. Although physical-chemical parameters and content of main and trace elements of the studied soils varied, the only detected crystalline secondary mineral of arsenic was scorodite (FeAsO4∙2H2O). Nevertheless, this differences affected amount of formed scorodite. The highest concentrations were determined on the surface of the arsenopyrite grains that oxidized in the beech stand, conversely the lowest concentrations were determined on the arsenopyrite grains from the unforested area.
Sport tourism in regional development
Soukupová, Lenka ; Slepičková, Irena (advisor) ; Novotný, Jiří (referee) ; Perlín, Radim (referee)
Title: Sport Tourism and its Influence on Development of Regions Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to introduce the sport tourism as a convenient tool for the regional development, to find out if the regions think about it in this way nowadays and how the sport tourism is incorporated in the strategic documents if so. The finding if the sport tourism is considered as a separate branch or if it is still divided into sport and tourism industry is also remarkable. This thesis sets the target to outline the different ways of the sport tourism application in a regional development and to determine certain recommendations as well. Methods: The methods used at research are qualitative content analysis and semi- structured interview. The analysis is used for the strategic documents of regions and the interviews are held with the regional representatives and the private institution agents chosen by a snowball sampling. Subsequently, a holistic analysis and an interpretation of discovered results are made. Results: I have revealed that sport and tourism are both part of the strategic documents of the regions, but no region uses the term 'sport tourism' in these documents. Sport and tourism are still two separate industries in the conception of the regions. Basically, it is possible to say that sport...
