Revitalization of the Central Station and the Underpass Beneath

Current Status Because we are waiting for transfer of the station, the railway is in a deplorable state. Technical and capacity (we can check 30 000 passengers per hour, during the fair is required 50 000 passengers per hour). During the reconstruction is needed to create a network of stations that are interconnected with the public transport. The train will become part of public transport and reduce the burden on the main station node. Move or don't move? The question which is difficult to answer. Both options have their advantages and disadvantages, and they are changing over time. The situation has changed very much in the advent of the financial crisis. Therefore, it should be professional discussion leading to the optimal solution. This does not happen, politicians are divided into two groups already know in advance that their pproposal is the best. Afterwards, looking for a reasons. I decided to check the option not move. The biggest drawback of this option is problematic construction (in service or temporary move). The biggest advantage is its link to public transport and the proximity to the town. Region Connection to the region is very important for me. This I see as a advantage of Brno, which should be further developed. Together with the development of public transport, automobile transport should be reduced. Barrier My work is trying to disprove the idea that the railway creates a barrier. On the contrary, I try to look at rail as a place that connects. Not only each stop, but the parts of the town as well. Construction Reinforced concrete arches are arranged in a triangle layout, creating a spatial truss. There is a train station in it. Trains ar placed on it. Typology The station is treated as free space, which is subsequently filled with different functions.These functions may be, if necessary, modified.

Augmented Reality for Desk Board Game

Cílem této práce je vytvořit systém, který bude vylepšovat zážitek z hraní deskových a především karetních her, promítáním relevantních multimediálních informací do herního prostoru. V první části jsou popsány přínosy deskových a karetních her. Dále jsou představeny principy rozšířené reality a jejich použití při návrhu takového systému. Navržený systém je rozdělen na tři moduly. Prvním z nich je modul, který analyzuje stav hry na stole v reálném světe --- poskytuje informace o aktivitě hráčů a jaké typy herních objektů se vyskytují na stole. Druhým je modul, který se stará o řízení celého systému, poskytuje uživatelské rozhraní pro kalibraci systému a implementuje stavový prostor hry, pro kterou je systém určen. Třetím je modul, který poskytuje výstup systému --- vytváří multimediální obsah, který je po-té promítnut na stůl, a je relevantní k aktuálnímu stavu hry. Na závěr je navržený systém implementován pro karetní hru Bang, otestována jeho schopnost udržovat krok se stavem hry v reálném světě a provedeno testování na uživatelích.

Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

History and Urbanism One of the most valuable thing of The Garden is that it remained in an aboriginal condition. All the sites that we should revitalise are components of the original garden. Unfortunately they are not lately used, but landscape architecture has the advantage that its much more easy to return to its primal state. Why then not to extend whole site to previous shape? That is why I did not set my proposal to this site, but moved it on south part of unused land. I will create new function for this place. Function of building The idea of the building was based on fact that The Garden is seasonally visited only. My building then need to incorporate different functions that operates during different season of the year or time scale. Permanent function - back of house of garden, conservatory, storage of mechanism, small eco-farm, offices, manager of garden, landscape architect of the city Kroměříž, non-profit institution, library Seasonal function – theatre, concerts and temporary exhibitons Out of season function - incubator / cheap spaces to let for starting businesses, companies, artists or scientists / Concept of building itself It is an another level of landscape. Old urbanistic plan of previous garden is slice to this structure. It creates negation of previous like a pavilion character of the place. The building itself is light, wooden construction set on small column base on ground. The various activities are then put inside the structure in a form of organic cells. Ecology of building Structure is actually the cold conservatory. Terraces are in winter times closed by PVC curtains / well known from big freezing fridges in supermarkets / and a part of the flora will be leaved here during cold months. The unique cells then will be saved from freeze and visitor will be free to enjoy movement all over the green place.

Echo-Based Distance Measurement on Mobile Phone

Cílem této práce je vytvoření aplikace pro mobilní zařízení na měření vzdálenosti pomocí ozvěny. Zaměřuje se na testování komponent zařízení a výběr signálu s vhodnými parametry pro měření. První částí práce je vyhodnocení schopnosti zařízení přehrávat a nahrávat zvuk, výsledkem je určení frekvence a síly zvuku, se kterým je zařízení schopno pracovat. Práce dále popisuje algoritmus pro měření vzdálenosti založeny na vzájemné korelaci vyslaného a přijatého signálu. Další částí je popis implementace výše zmíněného algoritmu v aplikaci pro operačním systému Android s řešením komunikace a synchronizace mezi jednotlivými součástmi. Implementace navrženého algoritmu v aplikace je v závěru práce otestována. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možné měření vzdálenosti na mobilním zařízení od půl metru do přibližně tří metrů, s ohledem na okolní hluk, s přesností na desetinu metru.

Selected types of crime committed under the influence of alcohol and drugs

Selected types of crime committed under the influence of alcohol and drugs In seven chapters, this thesis deals with selected types of crime for which the offender is typically under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances. The author defines basic concepts and analyze constituent elements of those criminal acts, criminological aspects and mechanisms of influence of addictive substances on the perpetrators of these selected types of crime (drunkenness, threats under the influence of addictive substance, domestic violence, criminality of football hooligans, sexual crimes and drug-related crimes). The first chapter deals with basic concepts and discusses the history and influence of the most commonly used drugs. The second chapter briefly summarizes the development of legislation punishing offenders affected with substance abuse (particularly culpable insane offenders) in our area for the period from Theresian criminal law reforms to the present. The third chapter contains a detailed analysis of crime drunkenness, including criminological aspects examined in the light of the current Czech courts decisions. The crime of habitual drunkenness under s. 360 of the Criminal Code

The crime of habitual drunkenness under s. 360 of the Criminal Code This thesis about drunkenness offense under § 360 of Act No. 40/2009 Criminal Code consists of ten chapters. Author defines the basic concepts of this offense, analyze legislation, and deals with theoretical approaches and criminological aspects of this crime. The first chapter is devoted to the reasons for the very existence of this specific instrument and the concept of insanity, including a treatise on the assessment of sanity in practice in the form of an expert evidence. The second chapter briefly summarizes development of legislation connected with drunkenness in our country for the period from Maria Theresa criminal law reform to the present. The third and fourth chapter contains analysis of the present legislation of drunkenness in its current version, including actio libera in causa contained in § 360 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. In the fifth chapter, the author discusses the arguments of theoretical approaches to punishment of willfully insane offenders and formulate his own critical attitudes. At the same time, author compares the effects of the application of the theory to examples from recent case law of the Czech courts. Reception of Darwin in biology conveys a story of evolutionary biology with emphasis on the divergent reception of Charles Darwin's theories by biologists in the past 150 years. Given the influence of Darwin's thought, a unique tradition has emerged in the scientific field. Every fifty years starting from the publishing of The Origin of Species, scientists gather to celebrate Charles Darwin as a thinker and a person. An immense amount of literature on Darwin and evolutionary biology has been produced by authors and publishers worldwide, thus the recurring commemorative events provide a fine start to the historical survey of Darwinism and are used as such in Reception of Darwin in biology.

Na základě zjištěných údajů je možné měření vzdálenosti na mobilním zařízení od půl metru do přibližně tří metrů, s ohledem na okolní hluk, s přesností na desetinu metru.
