Energy simulation of ground heat exchanger influence to operation of warm-air heating recuperation unit
Kolbábek, Antonín ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with energy simulation of a heat recovery system in coupling with a ground heat exchanger (GHE) in a low-energy family house with warm-air heating and ventilation. The effect of GHE on operation and effectiveness of a heat recovery unit was assessed from the results of the simulation. Next, energy and economic benefits of the heat recovery with and without GHE and consequent savings were evaluated as well. The profitability of the investment was assessed using comparison with the investment costs. Recommendations for the operation of the system were suggested.

Activity Recognition from Moving Object Trajectories
Schwarz, Ivan ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pešek, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a development of a system for trajectory-based periodic pattern recognition and following GPS trajectory classification. This system is designed according to a performed analysis of techniques of data mining in moving object data and furthermore, on recent research on a subject of a trajectory-based activity recognition. This system is implemented in C++ programming language and experiments addresing its      effectiveness are performed.
Feasibility of EU decarbonisation plans from the production capacities point of view
Vařejka, Tomáš ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The presented master's thesis aims to process a critical study on the feasibility of decarbonization plans in the EU from the perspective of production capacities. Decarbonization, or the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from the burning of fossil fuels, is the main tool for transitioning to a carbon-free society. The thesis presents the main European decarbonization plans, such as the Green Deal or Fit for 55, and evaluates the EU's previous climate policy. In accordance with these plans, decarbonization scenarios for the transition to new carbon-free energy sources are proposed for the target years 2030 and 2050, both at the EU and national level for the Czech Republic. Based on the proposed scenarios, the required capacity of new carbon-free energy sources is determined. The thesis also includes the determination of current production and implementation capacities and an assessment of their limitations. The result of comparing the required new sources with the current capacity is a proposal on how to increase these production and implementation capacities to theoretically achieve the set decarbonization goals.
Concentration of proceedings in civil procedure
Pešek, Martin ; Vyskočilová, Silvia (advisor) ; Sedláček, Miroslav (referee)
Concentration of proceedings in civil procedure Abstract The subject of this rigorous thesis is a current legislation on the concentration of proceedings. Concentration of proceedings is a manifestation of the principle of concentration and one of the institutes of civil procedural law, which are to prevent late factual statements and decisive evidence. The purpose for which the concentration of proceedings was introduced into the Code of Civil Procedure was to accelerate court proceedings and make them more efficient. The proceedings can be concentrated in three concentration moments, namely the end of the preparatory hearing, the end of the first hearing and the announcement of the decision. The core of this thesis is a summary of case law and professional literature, on the basis of which the rules that courts should follow...

The Functions of the Land Registry Abstract This diploma thesis deals with functions of the Czech Land Registry. After an introductory part describing the basic features of the Land Registry, individual approaches to its functions are debated. The following is an explanation of the recording, information, protective and intabulation function, which discusses the essence of each function and lists the institutes of effective legislation that are associated with these functions. In addition, shortcomings in effective legislation or inconsistencies of interpretation are mentioned, and, in some cases, a possible solution is formulated. The recording function consists in recording a certain set of data. First of all, the subject of registration is introduced, ie individual real estates that are registered in the Land Registry. The content of the Registry consists of specified data regarding real estates and regarding persons. The information function is related to the designation of the Land Registry as a public list and to the regulation of formal publicity. All forms of data provision are also presented. If the recorded data are reliable, complete and corresponding to the actual state, then the protective function is also fulfilled. Its enshrinement in the Civil Code and the regulation of material publicity...
