Specific learning difficulties of student in graduation year of vocational school and his ability to self - evaluate

This bachelor thesis deals with characteristics of student life with specific learning dificulities (next SPU) in graduation year, preparation for the final exam. The work deals with his self-evaluate and self-concept in relationship to family, school, and learning score. The purpose of thesis is to compare learning styles of students with SPU and students without disabilities and their preparation for school - leaving examination. This is a theoretical- empirical work. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the characteristics of SPU disorders, diagnostics and especially the teaching styles, which are the main part of the practical part of the thesis. The next part focuses on a particular student, his speeches, self- evaluation and especially school success. The practical part consists of two parts. The purpose of the research is to find out the student's view of SPU students at the Secondary vocational school, their learning styles and the mean of preparing students with SPU for graduation exams. Education of pupils at elementary school at the children's sanatorium

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the specifications of the education at the elementary school at the children's sanatorium in Luhačovice and then compare it with the form of education at the common elementary school. It is a theoretical-empirical work. The theoretical part describes the school at the children's sanatorium, its characteristics, history and daily program. Another part of the thesis focuses on a specific workplace, it is the elementary school at the children's sanatorium in Luhačovice. In the practical part was used the method of observation of teaching at this school in comparison with teaching at the common elementary school in Luhačovice. The questionnaire survey was conducted for pedagogues working at the elementary school at the children's sanatorium in Luhačovice. The aim of this work is to show the role of the pedagogue in the complex care of a hospitalized child who should never be underestimated by anyone. Degree of individual approach to children in various kinds pre-school facilities

This Bachelor Thesis describes different types of pre-school facilities and individual care provided for children in each of them. The goal of this thesis is to find out what the point of view of the parents of the children is on such a topic and to create evaluation. A field research based on personal observation will be made in each of those facilities providing more complex results. The theoretical part of this Thesis describes general definitions of pre-school education and presents different possibilities that exist on the market. The practical part is divided into two parts: survey and own observation (field research).
The phenomenon of free play in preschool age children

The thesis is focused on phenomenon of free play in preschool age children. Theoretical part of this work explains game itself and its context. Focus is aimed at capturing specifics of preschool age child's play, its importance for kids and division to several types. Major part of this thesis also explains concept of free play in preschool child development. Practical part contains research investigation of free play in children from three to four age in kindergarten. Goal of this investigation was set as follows: give description at free play phenomenon in preschool aged kids in preschool environment. Chosen methods for this research were observation together with non-structured interviews with participants of research - the kids themselves. Research findings describes prevailing types of play and themes that children chose during the free play. Results indicates which toys and tools children use to play with and what kind of relationship they had with them. In addition, children's interactions with others are described and also another features of the free play of preschool children. THESIS TITLE Children with Specific Language Impairment in the School Environment ABSTRACT The thesis focuses on children with specific language impairment (also called developmental dysphasia) in the school environment and it is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes specific language impairment and related terminology, defines a younger school-age child and also deals with causes, diagnosis and therapy of specific language impairment. The second chapter discusses social and communication skills of a child and the impact of specific language impairment on these skills. The third chapter concentrates on reading, writing and particular influences of specific language impairment which are associated with the development of other disorders and difficulties. The fourth chapter describes adaptation of a child with specific language impairment to the school environment. The empirical part consists of qualitative research, designed as multiple case studies, that was carried out among five younger school-age respondents. Parental attitudes towards the education of children with autism spectrum disorder

This diploma thesis provide a comprehensive list of information about the attitudes of parents towards education of children with autism spectrum disorders. The aim of this thesis is to determine how the parents receive a diagnosis of autism of their children and how they determine the access to education for their children as well. The theoretical part is based on literature, there are defined basic information about autism spectrum disorder, division of autism, causes symptoms of autism and finally information about parents with disabled children. This issue is focused to main autism spectrum disorders. There is mentioned technical assistance to families with ASD. Qualitative research, phenomenological approach and semi-structured interview designed to attitudes of parents of children with autism spectrum disorder. Are used in the empirical part. Research shows the acceptance and coping with a diagnosis of autism, and changes to the education of children with ASD. Practical part was created on the basis of theoretical knowledge, my personal experience and research questions. The personal experience of Specific Learning Difficulties as the way how to understand student's abilities

This Master's Diploma Thesis The personal experience of Specific Learning Difficulties as the way how to understand student's abilities is devoted to educating students with specific learning disabilities. The special emphasis of the work is on the impact of disabilities on psychical, social, educational and professional life of an individual. The aim of the first part of the Research Project was to comprehend how students with specific learning disabilities perceive individual manifestations of their learning difficulties. The data were applied to a scheme and realization of an experimental workshop for primary school teachers with the aim of helping to improve the relationship between teachers and students. The purpose of the second part of research was to hold an experimental workshop offering its participants a subjective experience of specific developmental learning disabilities, their identification with students' learning difficulties and a future introduction of new didactic and psycho-social procedures into their teaching process.
