Heidrichová, Anna ; Pádivý, Martin (advisor) ; Chvostek, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of my master thesis is to compare the entry and exit swimming level of younger school-age children in the context of compulsory swimming lessons at the first level of primary school. Swimming skills will be monitored for children in second and third grades, both boys and girls. The final distance swum by the children will then be categorised according to both the official diagnostic tables proposed by Čechovská and unofficial tables with more detailed intervals used internally by the swimming school where the research was conducted. In the theoretical part, the origins of swimming and its historical development in the world and in the Czech Republic are first mentioned, with an overlap to the current form of swimming, especially in the context of swimming education.
