Internet as a communication tool of non-profit organizations

This thesis describes the possibilities of using the internet for marketing and fundraising activities of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic. It has an emphasis on the quality of non-profit organizations' web sites. The first chapter of the thesis presents a non- profit sector and its specifics. Furthermore, it describes the possible ways NGOs can communicate on the internet and their potential online marketing. The third chapter is dedicated to fundraising forms and mapping the current trends in online fundraising. The fourth and fifth chapter explain the specifics of web site usage and social networks. Moreover, the principles of quality web sites are presented. The last chapter focuses on the analysis of the web sites of selected non-profit organizations in the area of social rehabilitation. The analysis is mainly devoted to accessibility and usability of web sites. It also examines the potential use of web sites to communicate with users and supporters.
Comprehensive Web Audit Methodology

A web site is often the first point of contact between the user and another person or company or organization, so that in the electronic world, a web site is like a calling card. Ideally therefore, a web site should load relatively quickly to prevent the user from looking elsewhere even before the web site has opened. Also, the web site should have a pleasant design to make it user-friendly, it should display helpful content, be widely accessible and, last but not least, fulfil the aims for which it was created. It is the responsibility of web site designers, programmers and creators to ensure that web sites fulfil their function. A web site audit - either during or after its construction - is the best way of checking that all factors relating to access, use, technical processes and other criteria function correctly. There are many audit companies on the market today, each of them offering the customer its own particular perspective, evaluation according to different criteria and audit conducted using various methods. Pornography as the agent of technological change : the transformation of perception of embodiment and privacy

The aim of this rigorosum thesis is the relationship between pornography and new technologies. The influence of this relationship on perception of embodiment and privacy is also disscussed. The thesis describes the technologies and related procedures which came into contact with pornographic content at an early stage of their existence and has been affected by this specific segment of the market. This paper also examines the aspects of these effects and focuses on the related penetration of these technologies among the general public. It also reflects the possible impacts on individuals and whole human society. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter focuses on videocassette recorders, a technology that has been affected by pornography in past. The second chapter summarizes the impact of pornography on the Internet, which represents the technology we encounter every day, and is often an integral part of our lives. The third chapter outlines the possible future development of relationship between pornography and new technologies, while analyzes the driving forces of the influence of pornography. M-commerce as a new purchasing phenomenon

(in English): Thesis deals with the phenomenon of m-commerce. History section briefly describes the evolution and significant moments for further development of this segment and its subsequent adaptation. It also discusses the types of transactions that are carried out through mobile devices and also about technologies that allow for a gradual transformation of these devices into multifunctional objects. The fourth chapter deals with the evaluation of practical research, which was carried out by me. The research was focused on the typology of purchases that are realized by Czech users through their mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) in relation to mobile smartphone platform, which they own.
Changes in online content conspumtion by the type of device

This thesis deals with the changes in the pattern of Internet content consumption caused by the new types of device, such as smart phones and tablets. In the second Chapter following the introduction, these devices are introduced, as well as their users. The third and crucial chapter first discusses how changed the activities that we have performed on a PC or laptop. The next section presents a completely new activities that occurred up with smart phones such as geolocation games and mobile tagging. The fourth chapter focuses on the mobile internet in the Czech Republic. Part of this charter is a private research / comparison of 100 most visited websites, when the endpoint was to determine how the authors of these sites are prepared for mobile visitors. At the theoretical level in context of thesis is to characterize the influence of the Internet on business principles and give to the reader a complete picture of its impact on current business. Following the main aim of the theses will need a virtually explore the possibilities which offer 21st century in the integration of modern business tools that allows smoother access to corporate infomation and knowledge and If their effective optimatization is the key to a uccessful business on the internet. The contribution of this thesis is to evaluate the practical challenges for companies which brings continual development of information and communication technologies that can be used for support of decision making in selecting an appropriate combination of business tools.

The first part describes properties and structure of the online book market, identifies market participants and outlines possible typology of bookstores.The second part focuses on search engine optimization (SEO), accessibility, usability and online marketing with practical examples and proposals for online booksellers. This diploma thesis deals with issue of optimization of information needs in engineering company Weiler s.r.o. This work consists of otheoretical background, on which is established practical part, which contains strategic analysis of companies environment and information needs. There is processed strategic plan of optimization in three alternatives on these foundations - pessimistic with no change in the company, realistic, which counts with use of one information worker and optimistic, which counts with establishing an information department in the company. The final plan is elaboration of realistic alternative including financial plan, which contains the electivity calculation.
