"Eastern theodicea" as an alternative treatment for the Western problem of evil

This essay responds to the dissatisfaction of some philosophers with traditional Western solutions to the problem of evil in religion and it offers an alternative solution, which is inspired by the Eastern philosophy of advaita to a great extent. According to the critics, traditional theodicies do not solve the following aspects of the problem of evil: problems with the extent and distribution of evil, suffering of animals and eternal damnation. Three elements of the Eastern philosophy combined with some traditional strategies do solve these problems. The first element is the idea of universal salvation, the second is the theory of karma nand reincarnation and the last one is advaita and lila. These elements can be accepted in various forms and combinations, some of which are more compatible with the traditional methods than others. The final solution is hypothetical and should be understood as a sketech of several ways in which the problem of evil can be solved. This essay is not merely an application of Eeastern concepts to a Western problem, but rather a mutual interaction. That is why I do not hesitate to work with Western new age literature and use Eastern concepts creatively myself. Nursing care of the patient with acute appendicitis

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zpracování případové studie ošetřovatelské péče o nemocného J.P., 41 let, který byl hospitalizován na anesteziologickoresuscitačním oddělení (ARO) v nemocnici v Praze s diagnózou akutní appendicitis gangrenosa perforata, status ileosus, difusní peritonitis, septický stav. Na základě těchto diagnóz byl pacient po provedené revizi břicha s appendectomií, laváží a drenáží dutiny břišní přijat na ARO, kde jsem k této případové studii získávala informace. V klinické části práce se zabývám anatomií a fyziologií zažívacího traktu a céka. V další části popisuji klinický obraz, polohy apendixu, diagnostiku onemocnění, komplikace, terapii a prognózu onemocnění. Na tuto kapitolu navazují základní údaje o nemocném při příjmu, lékařská anamnéza, průběh celé hospitalizace, provedené diagnostické výkony, vyšetření a léčba po operaci. V ošetřovatelské části se nemocnému věnuji z hlediska ošetřovatelského procesu. Pro vytvoření ošetřovatelské anamnézy jsem použila koncepční model "Fungujícího zdraví" Marjory Gordonové. Vzhledem k omezenému rozsahu této práce jsem ošetřovatelské diagnózy stanovila a podrobně vypracovala pouze na první pooperační den, 2. den hospitalizace v nemocnici. Podrobný plán ošetřovatelské péče byl stanoven s ohledem na současný zdravotní stav, potřeby a problémy nemocného....

The impact of the municipal tax for spa or recreational stay and the municapal tax for accommodation for tourism development and the revenue of selected municipalities in the Czech Republic

This thesis focus on the analysis of the status of the municipal tax for spa or recreational stay and the municapal tax for accommodation in the revenue of selected municipalities in the Czech Republic, including their use in promoting tourism. The first part focuses on theoretical knowledge in the field of public revenues and is dedicated to the concept of local tax and its legal regulations. The analytical part contains a comparison of the position of these local taxes in terms of quantitative indicators, such as income from these local taxes or their share of tax revenue and results of a survey between mayors of selected municipalities divided for the purpose of this work into three categories - spa towns and municipalities , mountain resorts and popular tourist destinations. The results of the survey in the Czech Republic are compared with these local taxes in selected European cities. In conlusion, the results of the survey are discussed and furthermore, current legislation solutions are suggested which would streamline the use of municipal taxes for spa or recreational stay and accommodation.

Ethics in business and corporate social responsibility

This diploma work considering Business ethics and social responsibility of companies discusses a contemporary topic. The work is separated into several parts. The applied part of the work is based on literary research of selected literature, and deals with business ethics and responsibility of companies that deal with bus traffic and truck transport in actual business practice. The applied part was done by comparing four selected criteria that are linked to corporate responsibility of companies. All of the presented subjects have been dealing with helping people and groups of people for at least ten years, especially to those who need help due to health disorders at being included in normal, everyday life like healthy people, participate in all kinds of sports, culture and social activities. The presented companies and other subjects have been showing for many years how important their help is. The final part of the work contains twenty-five recommendations aimed at expansion of social responsibility of companies.

Social and psychological aspekt of unemployment

This thesis deals with unemployment, in particular the consequences that come with it, in particular long-term unemployment brings. The rate of nezaměstannosti is a very important macroeconomic indicator. Here is a comprehensive overview of the development of unem-ployment, drawn up in the Czech Republic, but for comparison here is mentioned the de-velopment of unemployment in the countries of the European Union and the eurozone and is mentioned here and the unemployment rate in the United States and Japan. Thesis has a goal to make a medium-term strategic framework for specific sub-action plans. This work evaluates the micro region Hodoninsko and through the specific steps describes opportunities for the development of the territory with respect to the current situation and the conditions. The introduction of the theoretical part defines basic termi-nology and the general structure of the strategic document. This part is treated as a liter-ary review. In the practical part are data collected through the situational and SWOT analysis. The next step is to undertake its own part of the questionnaire. Obtained results are confronted with the both analysis situational and SWOT. Based on this comparison are determined crucial areas and the specific objectives for strategic planning. Then are developed action plans for each area. The final outcome of the thesis is proposed inter-mediate intentions that can be use as a source for further development of the micro re-gion Hodoninsko.

The Suggestion of Improving Motivation System HP TRONIC

This bachelor thesis is focused on improvement of the motivation system for the group HP TRONIC. By using a questionnaire survey the current state of satisfaction of employees with the motivation system and communication with their direct superiors was determined. The statistical hypotheses was also tested on employee satisfaction with their job benefits. In conclusion the thesis presents a proposal to improve the current motivation system, which should lead to greater employee satisfaction and higher performance.

A Test Set for Red Hat Test Suite

This bachelor's thesis deals with test preparation for Red Hat Test Sytem (RHTS). Basic concepts of software testing explained, RHTS described in more detail, together with an approach how to make a test set for a software package. The main areas for test for selected packages, wireshark and wireshark-gnome in particular, are analysed and tests are designed and implemented using Dogtail framework for GUI testing and RHTS library for other tests.

Heuristic Solving of Planning Problems

This thesis deals with the implementation of the metaheuristic algorithms into the Drools Planner. The Drools Planner is an open source tool for solving optimization problems. This work describes design and implementation of Ant colony optimization metaheuristics in the Drools Planner. Evaluation of the algorithm results is done by Drools Planner benchmark with different kinds of optimization problems.
