Circular economics in construction

The goal of this bachelor thesis Circular Economy in Construction is to map the sources of primary raw materials and the production of recyclates in the context of construction production and to perform a price and geographical analysis. The extension of the principles of circular economy is set in the context of the now widespread linear economy. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of the circular economy and the possibilities of recycling construction waste. The practical part then analyses the current state of production of minerals key to the construction industry, the current production of construction recyclates, the possibilities of increasing recycling and increasing the applicability of the essence of the circular economy. The paper concludes with a summary of the results of the analysis and possible improvements.

Connection between distribution of socio-economic characteristics of population and economy in relation to railway network in Czechoslovakia in 1921 and 1930 Abstract Transport is closely related with social and economic processes in space and they affect each other. History of transport, and economy and history of the population are themes quite well covered. Attempts to synthetically cover history of transport and society and its activities in the space have not been numerous, if any they only referred to certain examples, although the transport, especially rail, is mentioned as an important factor of development. The diploma thesis analyzes statistical dependece of selected demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of national censuses in 1921 and 1930 and economic characteristics and agriculural units in 1930 on rail infrastructure in the Czechoslovak Republic. The key statistical data are selected census results (eg. age of population, literacy and inhabitans in the sector of the national economy), results of census of economic and agricultural units (for example units equipment) at the level of administrative units in Czechoslovakia. The Benefit of the Waste Management

This article aims to highlight the importance of construction demolition waste management. The emphasis is on fulfilling the principle of circular economy. CDW is the largest mass flow of waste in the EU, which is why the EU is gradually introducing measures to reduce construction waste production. The article analyzes data from the CZSO and EUROSTAT on waste production, which allow to compare separately branches of construction production: building construction, civil engineering and specialized construction. The data will be compared with national economic performance indicators. By comparing the size of CDW production with GDP, the degree of their interdependence will be determined. The aim of the analysis is to assess the link between the GDP of the country and the production of CDW.

Multi-Objective Optimization of EM Structures With Variable Number of Dimensions

Tato dizertační práce pojednává o více-kriteriálních optimalizačních algoritmech s proměnným počtem dimenzí. Takový algoritmus umožňuje řešit optimalizační úlohy, které jsou jinak řešitelné jen s použitím nepřirozených zjednodušení. Výzkum optimalizačních method s proměnnou dimenzí si vyžádal vytvoření nového optimalizačního frameworku, který obsahuje vedle zmíněných vícekriteriálních metod s proměnnou dimenzí – VND-GDE3 a VND-MOPSO – i další optimalizační metody různých tříd. Optimalizační framework obsahuje také knihovnu rozličných testovacích problémů. Mezi nimi je také sada více-kriteriálních testovacích problémů s proměnnou dimenzí, které byly navrženy pro nastavení a ověření nových metod s proměnnou dimenzí. Nové metody jsou dále použity k optimalizaci několika různorodých optimalizačních úloh z reálného světa.

Progressive cladding system with corrosion protection function

Corrosion of reinforcement in reinforced concrete is a huge problem. Corrosion of reinforcement has a great effect on the service life of reinforced concrete structures. The subject of this work is to verify the inhibitors properties and their efficiency using physical and electrochemical methods. The aim of this work is the design of formwork panels with corrosion protection. The formwork panels are on different material basis. Corrosion protection is ensured by the use of migration corrosion inhibitors.

Discretization Of Decision Variables In
Optimization Algorithms

This paper presents a verification of universal method for discretization of decision space in optimization algorithms. Real-world optimization tasks frequently use discontinuous decision variables and in order to effectively optimize such tasks, it is necessary to exploit an optimization algorithm that meets such requirement. Unfortunately, very few evolutionary algorithms can naturally work with discontinuous decision space. The method that entitles all optimization algorithms to effectively solve problems with discrete variables is here described and experimentally verified.

Management of municipal property

This master thesis deals with management of municipality property municipality Stará Turá in the years 2013 - 2018. The theoretical part defines the territorial self-government in the Slovak republic, as well as management of the municipality, budget revenues and budget expenditures and municipality property. The analytical part contains basic information about the village Stará Turá, analysis and subsequent management of municipality property in the years. The last part deals with the possible utilization of the economic result for improvement of the municipality of Stará Turá.
