Education towards Health at Practical one-year School

This diploma thesis focuses on Education towards health at Practical one-year school. The thesis is divided into three parts. First, the theoretical part describes didactic methods used during education, the subject of Education towards Health, intellectual disability and the way it affects pupils at school, Practical one-year school and its place in the Czech education system and lastly it presents tools that teachers use for effective teaching especially for the subject of Education towards Health and with intellectually disabled pupils. The availability of different materials for teaching this subject at Practical one-year school is presented in the second part of this work, that in the form of charts sums up the results of a questionnaire. It confirms the original assumption, that there is a lack of materials among the responders. The last part of the thesis is practical. The aim of this work was to create various tools that can be used for teaching some aspects of Education towards Health at Practical one-year school. The author created and tested 21 different tools, worksheets and games which can be used for teaching said subject to pupils with intellectual disability. Complete set of these educational materials is presented in the annexe of this work.
The formation of methodology in low threshold club for children and young people

The topic of the thesis is the formation of methodology in a low threshold club for children and young people. The work is divided into six chapters, the first four of which are devoted to theory. The first chapter deals with the general description of low threshold institutions, their concepts, goals, target group and history. The second chapter describes the quality standards of Social Services, which, according to the content of information, are divided into three types - procedural, personal and operational. The next chapter describes concepts such as social disadvantage, social exclusion or socially excluded location and also shows the ethnic minority and the traditional Roma family. The fourth chapter is devoted to social service workers, social workers and special educators in the social service. The research part of the thesis deals with the process of creating a methodological document in a low-threshold institution for children and youth in Šluknov. The institution with its principles of work, goals, target group and frequent unfavorable social situations of clients, where the research is taken place, is described in this part of the thesis. The ways of identification gifted student with dual exceptionality by the first degree of elementary school's teacher

This thesis deals with methods of identification of a gifted student with dual exceptionality by a teacher at the 1st grade of elementary school. The aim of the work is to find out what specific methods teachers use to identify students with dual exceptionality. Do they use available identification methods for educators, or do they have their own tested procedures for identifying this group of gifted students. The aim is also to find out how the cooperation between teachers and experts of the school counseling office takes place in the identification of twice exceptional pupils. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of basic concepts such as giftedness, dual exceptionality, identification, methods of identification, specific learning disorders. Giftedness can occur with different types of handicaps, this thesis focuses on the combination of giftedness with specific learning disabilities that appears most often in the schools (participating in the research). That is the reason why specific learning disabilities are described in the theoretical part. Challenging behaviour in primary and secondary school and possible solutions

This work focuses on the risky behaviour of students aged 11 - 15 in a selected elementary school. The aim of this work is to find out the level of knowledge of teachers about the prevalence of risky behaviour at their school, possible solutions to this behaviour, and the awareness about institutes that might help with their resolutions. This thesis has two parts, a theoretical part and a research part. In the theoretical part, ADHD, defence mechanisms, and general principals of teacher to student interactions are discussed. Furthermore, this work focuses on selected types of risky behaviour and their possible solutions that can be carried out by the school. The research part of this thesis consists of a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire which is filled in by the educators in the elementary school. This questionnaire is further discussed in an interview with a school prevention specialist. The purpose of the research was to assess the frequency of occurrence of each type of risky behaviour, the awareness of teachers about possible solutions, and the solutions the teachers actually use for their resolutions. Title: Relationship between projected and adopted curriculum Health Education for primary education graduates Problem: Curricular reform begins in 2004, and education is transformed into this reform. Schools are gaining more autonomy, so that they can use their conditions more effectively. The educational field of Health Education is newly being introduced in schools. This field of education should pass on knowledge and skills, that will help students maintain a higher level of health in the future. We see the problem in the fact that Health Education is not clearly defined in the system of curricular documents and schools have a relatively large degree of autonomy in its implementation. In addition, no systematic feedback is provided yet. Thus, it is not clear how effective is the teaching of Health Education, how much time is devoted to it, how teachers are educated and what is the interest in studying Health Education at pedagogical faculties, there are also no standardized evaluation tools. The diploma thesis deals with the Nicola tesla Center learning system that develops exceptionally gifted children. The aim od the thesis is to find out to what extent the NTC learning system stimulates the development of a gifted pupil already in preschool age and the possibilities of supporting and exceptionally gifted pupil in primary education. The theoretical part of třhe work describes intelligence, talent and the NTC system itself. The empirical part consists of two stages. The first stage describes the process of education in kindergarten and work with the NTC learning system and identifies in the process of developing talents in children using the system. The methodology of the NTC learning system is used on the kindergarten in the creation of the school educational program and is practically used with the help of individual activities. NTC learning system activities are included in the daily program. The second stage describes how preschool education took place in the monitored children with focus on manifestations of giftedness, whether there were adjustments to preschool education with regard to giftedness.
