Speed of Trains in Track Junctions
Horák, Matouš ; Kuchár, Martin
This work focuses on the speed of trains, primarily in railway stations. It also deals with the parameters which the speed depends on, for example the influence of the security device or the traction characteristics of the vehicles. As part of the practical part, a direct measurement of speeds in suitable locations was carried out. Modelling of these situations in the OpenTrack program will be done in a next article, where a comparison of both methods will be carried out.

Bachelor thesis will focus on the analysis and creation of marketing mix Purlive Company Ltd. Since the company is a new market, and will therefore generate new marketing mix, in which most focus on product, price, market research and competitive. The work will also swot analysis and communication mix.
The block of flats in Milotice nad Bečvou
Kuchař, Michal ; Janda, Lukáš (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concern project of apartment building in Milotice nad Bečvou. It is an individually standing object on a flat terrain. The object of the apartment building has three over-ground and one underground floor. The object consists of six dwelling units and one gym. On the first over-ground floor there are two flats, on the second over-ground floor there are two flats and on the third over-ground floor there are also two flats. On the underground floor there are one gym. The building is designed of structural system of ceramic blocks and partly permanent formwork. The ceilings are from prefabricated ceramics system and partly reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as a mono-pitched with roof truss. The work includes project documentation for the construction.
The building
Kuchař, Michal ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This dissertation thesis concern the project of a multifunctional building in Hranice na Moravě. It is an individually standing object on a flat terrain. The building has four over-ground floors. In the first and second floor are administrative spaces. Administrative spa-ces consist of offices and meetings room. In a third and fourth floor are four flats. There is one 3+kk flat (three rooms with kitchenette) and one 2+kk flat (two rooms with kitchenette) on every floor. The double staircase is used to connect the individual floors. The building is designed from a structural system of ceramic fittings. The ceilings are assembled from ceramic fittings with reinforced concrete. This ceiling is also supporting part of single skin flat roof. The thesis contains project documentation for construction.
Modeling and Control of AC Electric Drives during Fault Conditions
Determination of masonry modulus of elasticity in the direction of bed joints
Kuchař, Martin ; Klusáček, Ladislav (referee) ; Terzijski, Ivailo (advisor)
The determination of strain properties of masonry in the direction parallel to bed joints is a fundamental pre-requisite for designing structures, where masonry is subjected to horizontal stresses (e. g. strengthening with prestressing). The diploma thesis summarized techniques of determination of masonry modulus of elasticity presented in available literature. The goal is to suggest suitable methodology of determination of masonry modulus in direction parallel to the bed joints. In the practical part of the diploma thesis is that methodology verified by experimental test and results of tests are analyzed and discussed.
Design of Pardubice Connection from HSR Line
Kuchár, Martin ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Dušek, Erik (advisor)
The aim of the work was to design the railway connection of the city of Pardubice to the VRT network Prague - Hradec Králové - Wroclaw. The beginning of the connection is to be located near the village of Olešnice. The end of the connection is to be located near the village of Opočínek on a conventional line in front of the railway stop Pardubice - Opočínek. The new VRT route is to be designed for a maximum speed of 350 km / h according to the DÚR Design Manual. The length of the route should be about 20 km.
Design of Monolithic RC Structure
Kuchař, Martin ; Zlámal, Martin (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis describes the design of the load-bearing part of the reinforced monolithic frame concrete structure of the home for the elderly. The subject of assessment are the typical elements of the load-bearing skeleton in the 1st floor: frame rung PS, beam T5, column SR3a and the ceiling plate above the first floor. The assessment is made for ultimate limit states, moreover for frame rung PS the deflection control is provided, too.
Pathofysiology of a tumour microenvironment of salivary glands cancer
Kuchař, Martin ; Skřivan, Jiří (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jaroslav (referee) ; Lohynská, Radka (referee)
Treatment options for salivary gland carcinomas (SGC), especially advanced ones, are limited. Immunotherapy, particularly therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI), has brought significant progress and change in the treatment of malignant tumors. The effect and response to immunotherapy using ICI are largely driven by the characteristics of immune cells in the tumor tissue and, as it turns out, also in the peritumoral tissue. We conducted an immunohistochemical analysis of the expression of the immune checkpoint protein PD-1 and its ligand PD-L1 on the surface of tumor cells as well as tumor-infiltrating immune cells (TIIC) in samples of salivary carcinomas, separately in their centre and at their periphery. In addition to the above, an increasing amount of evidence suggests that resistance to ICI therapy is modulated by the interaction of the Fas receptor (CD95) and Fas ligand (FasL, CD178) between tumor cells and immune cells. We therefore decided to explore the expression and interaction of Fas-FasL between tumor cells and tumor-infiltrating immune cells in the centre of the tumor and in the peritumoral area of salivary carcinoma samples. Differential evaluation of the tumor centre and tumor periphery across various histological subtypes of SGC revealed the role of peripheral TIICs and...
