Mechanical screens for a small hydropower plant
Krejčí, Monika ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The first part of this bachelor thesis contains a short summary and overview of different types of screens. The main goal of this thesis is the calculation of selected parts of hydraulically driven screens and the part of this thesis is also the design of hydraulic circuit. The thesis is attached by drawing documentation of selected parts of mechanism.
Integration od robot in production of pressure tank for common rail system
Krejčí, Monika ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about integration process of assembly line automation on rail assembly. In the beginning is introduced Bosch Company, then follows up theoretical part about automation and assembly lines. After theoretical introduction continues description of current state of rail assembly and choice the best line for automation and its detailed description. After that, the work deals with finding of the best solution for line automation. Found solutions are evaluated using the decision matrix. After the best one of them is chosen. There is also calculation of investments, because the one of important conditions is, that payback period has to be less than two years. Next step is choice of the most suitable supplier and integrator, which can cope with all requirements. At the end of thesis is analysis of risks done and thanks to this, are potentials for improvement of workplace safety found.
Neuropsychiatric symptoms in predementia stages and the degree of congruence between the close informant and patient ratings
Krejčí, Monika ; Vyhnálek, Martin (advisor) ; Šustová, Petra (referee)
This Master's thesis deals with neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) in the early stages of neurodegenerative diseases with an emphasis on Alzheimer's disease (AD). It aims to introduce these symptoms and their contexts and, within the framework of the research, to describe the prevalence and severity of NPS and to compare the informant- and self-rating of NPS in the Mild Behavioral Impairment-Checklist (MBI-C). Attention is focused on the total MBI-C scores but also on the individual domains of the NPS. A quantitative research is conducted on a sample of 70 dyads of patients and their informants; patients with subjective cognitive decline and mild cognitive impairment were included. The performed statistical analyses prove that patients and their informants differ from each other in the assessment of NPS in the total score of the MBI-C and in the impulse dyscontrol domain. These differences are also correlated with the degree of cognitive deficit of the patient. Evaluation of NPS by both the patient and informant and evaluation of the degree of their consistency might therefore be useful and important for predicting the progression of the neurodegenerative disease. However, this assumption will need to be verified in further research, the possibilities of which are also discussed in the thesis.
Perception of Emotions in Music in the Deaf
Krejčí, Monika ; Veselá, Michaela (advisor) ; Novák, Ondřej (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the subject of perception of emotions in music in the deaf. It aims to describe basic possibilities to perceive music by the deaf, with the focus on the perception of musical emotions specifically. Part of the thesis is formed by a research that would allow determining differences in perceiving emotions in music in the deaf since birth, people who lost hearing at a later age and the hearing, based on the sound waves vibration only. The research is designed as a mixed-method research. The methods employed are an quasi-experiment in the quantitative part and semi-structured interviews in the qualitative part. The thesis primarily builds on the current international research on the topic of perception of emotions in music in the deaf through vibration and on studies dealing with the general perception of vibrotactile stimuli by the deaf or changes in perception in relation to losing hearing.

Barriers to Participation in Further Education of Single Mothers
Krejčí, Monika ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Záškodná, Helena (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of barriers to participation in adult education, specifically in education of single mothers. It aims to identify barriers that single mothers have to overcome, to find how they do that and to find motivations they have to participating in adult education. The thesis builds on the research in the field of barriers to adult education, motivation to adult education and the research in the field of life circumstances of single mothers. An important part of the thesis is formed by a research with semi-structured interviews with single mothers, who have small children and who are participating in adult education. Interviews consist of topics from the literature, which is the base for particular chapters, and then specific barriers, ways of their overcoming and motivations of single mothers to participation in adult education are identified.
