Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou bariér v účasti dospělých na dalším vzdělávání, konkrétně v účasti matek samoživitelek. Cílem práce je identifikovat bariéry, které matky musejí při vzdělávání překonávat, dále identifikovat způsoby, jak je překonávají, a motivaci, kterou k dalšímu vzdělávání mají. Práce navazuje na výzkumy z oblastí bariér ve vzdělávání dospělých, motivace k dalšímu vzdělávání a na výzkumy z oblasti životních okolností matek samoživitelek. Významnou součástí práce je výzkumné šetření realizované metodou polostrukturovaných interview s matkami samoživitelkami, které mají malé děti a zároveň se účastní dalšího vzdělávání. Témata interview vycházejí z literatury, která je základem pro jednotlivé kapitoly, a následně jsou na jejich základě identifikovány některé specifické bariéry, způsoby jejich překonávání a motivace matek samoživitelek ve vztahu k dalšímu vzdělávání. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of barriers to participation in adult education, specifically in education of single mothers. It aims to identify barriers that single mothers have to overcome, to find how they do that and to find motivations they have to participating in adult education. The thesis builds on the research in the field of barriers to adult education, motivation to adult education and the research in the field of life circumstances of single mothers. An important part of the thesis is formed by a research with semi-structured interviews with single mothers, who have small children and who are participating in adult education. Interviews consist of topics from the literature, which is the base for particular chapters, and then specific barriers, ways of their overcoming and motivations of single mothers to participation in adult education are identified.
