Intergenerational Learning in Education of Preschool Children

The thesis is focused on the intergenerational learning in families of preschool children. The first, theoretical part, discusses the ongoing intergenerational learning in families and possibilities of intergenerational programs outside the family. The second, practical part, examines whether and how progress the intergenerational learning in families with preschool children and deals with the parentʼs attitudes toward intergenerational program in kindergarten. Research is carried out via survey in families of children, structured interviews with parents and observation and interviews with children in kindergarten. One part of the thesis is to create the design and implementation of a project focused on intergenerational learning in cooperation of kindergarten and senior citizen home and subsequent reflection process, which arises during intergenerational activities between children and seniors from non-family environment.

Multicultural education in a preschool together with familial integration

První část diplomové práce nazvaná " Multikulturní výchova v mateřské škole v integraci s rodinami" pojednává o některých termínech, týkajících se této problematiky. Dále se věnuje současné multikulturní situaci v České republice. Na toto téma jsem se zaměřila z hlediska významu spolupráce mateřské školy s rodinami a výhod multikulturní výchovy v mateřské škole s rodiči. Druhá část zahrnuje návrh třídního kurikula s multikulturním zaměřením v integraci s rodiči a jeho realizaci v soukromé anglické mateřské škole v Praze. Abstract: The first section of this thesis which is entitled "Multicultural Education in a pre-school with familial integration" starts by outlining the most common terms in this broad issue, followed by a current position of multiculturalism in Czech Republic. I focused on a topic in a sense of the co-operation between a pre-school and families from a multicultural view point. The second part includes a concept of the Multicultural Class Curriculum with familial integration and presents its realization in a privat English Pre-school in Prague.

Parents and grandparents in educating of pre school children

This diploma work deals with parents and grandparents in education of preschool age. First theoretical part of the work examines sociological data about family and education of children. The work further deals details of the position and role of the grandparents when these findings are then compare in the context of a child where the main importance is focused to presence grandparents in education. The second part of the work is focused to research. It examines how the parents and grandparents work together in education and how feels this help young parent. This part of the work finds what education methods repeat of our children and how has changed the education today against of past. It deals if grandparents affect their children and if these children perceive they are influence by parents.

Social Interaction in an Age-heterogeneous Group in a Nursery School and the After-School Activities of Primary School

Cílem mé práce je nahlédnout blíže, co přináší dětem vzájemné ovlivňování mladších a starších dětí při hře i při řízené činnosti, jaké vztahy se mezi těmito dětmi utvářejí, jaké postavení dítě ve skupině svým chováním a jednáním získává a také jak se umí k případným problémům samo postavit. Se sociální interakcí se člověk potýká celý život, protože bývá odmalička v kontaktu s lidmi, nejdříve jemu blízkými, poté s vrstevníky a učiteli, pak v partě mladých lidí a nakonec jako dospělý v běžném či pracovním životě. Uvědomuji si, jak je důležité pro úspěšný start dítěte do života obecně a do dětského kolektivu konkrétně jeho kladné přijetí rodinou a jakým příkladem jsou mu jeho rodiče. Po získání pocitu jistoty a bezpečí v rodině se dítě postupně osamostatňuje a je schopné navazovat kontakty s dalšími lidmi mimo rodinu, především s vrstevníky. Velmi tedy záleží na úrovni stability a osobní vyrovnanosti každého jedince. Po úvaze nad položenými otázkami jsem dospěla k názoru, že bych měla vychovávat především děti ohleduplné, citlivé, které budou schopny spolupracovat, budou se umět prosadit či přizpůsobit. Míra úspěšnosti dítěte se stává součástí osobní identity a ovlivňuje dětské prožívání i chování. Concept of parenthood by university students

The bachelor thesis tries to map opinions, attitudes and values of current University students. The main purpose of this work is to find out how University students understand the topic of parenthood. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with research and knowledge about current family and it's transformations after the year 1989. Also covers how far is family accepted and supported by contemporary society; also examine how is family affected by economic changes, how the interpersonal relations changed and what value has the child for today's family. The next section of the theoretical part deals with the topic parenthood. Parenthood is debated from the point of view of the parents as well from point of view of the child. Parenthood is also viewed in a historical context, whereby change must always be taken into consideration. There is mentioned arrival of contraception and thanks to it also the arrival of possibility to separate sexual and reproductive life which have changed the relationship to parenthood significantly. Finally the last chapter focuses on the University students. What are they studying and the duration. Children's spontaneous activities in the kindergarten

Key words: spontaneous-spontaneity,activity, daily regime, conditions (space, equipment/facilities, teacher's attitude), acceptance, empathy, authenticity, facilitation, gender identity Annotation : The assignment tries to qualify the question of children's spontaneous activities in the kindergarten. It explains the basic concepts that refer to the given problems - spontaneity, activity. It marks the boundaries of spontaneous activities during the daily regime and monitors the conditions that are necessary for creating of optimal space for these activities. It describes, classifies and evaluates the activities in terms of educational value and in terms of fulfilling the children's progress possibilities. The second part of the assignment, which is mainly based on direct observation of six particular children during their spontaneous activities in a classroom and in the garden in the selected kindergarten, is focused on surveying, description and categorization of the spontaneous activities. It closely describes the subject of the spontaneously chosen activities and the choice of a game partner, it monitors the difference of activities inside and outside and also its girl's and boys' content. 6
