History of women's football in the Czech lands

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of women's football in the Czech lands. The thesis is divided chronologically from the very beginnings of football as a collective sport and traces the involvement of women in the game. It defines the first sporting activities of women in society and their official educational physical education process in Europe. Provides the earliest references to women's football in Great Britain and Bohemia. Describes the most important things that have happened in women's football in the Czech territory, in a chronological sequence from the founding of the first women's team, the structure of the first regular competitions to the current structure of women's football in the Czech Republic. The most famous teams are mapped and the most important personalities of women's football in the Czech Republic and the world are described. It describes the development of the Czechoslovak women's national football team from its first official match to its isolation under the Czech flag. The chapters are enriched with contemporary interviews and public reactions from available theses, periodicals, books and websites. History of scout movement in Benešov region

In the introduction of this work, the theme of the roots of world scouting is outlined, focusing on the personality of B.P.Powell and E.T.Seton. The next chapter describes the history of scouting in the Czech Republic before 1989, with an emphasis on the personality of the founder of Czech scouting, A.B. Svojsík. The structure of the Scout organization is also briefly characterized here. These two chapters are prepared with regard to the topic of the work The main part of the work is a historical treatise on scouting in the Benešov region until 1989, with a focus on areas still active in scouting. In each sub-chapter, the history of one city or village is processed. These are Benešov, Vlašim, Votice, Týnec nad Sázavou, Neveklov and Vrchotovy Janovice. A short penultimate chapter is dedicated to the already inactive troop in Dolní Kralovice, and in the last chapter other areas of Benešov region where scouting took place until 1989 are listed, but at present there is no scouting unit here. The aim of the thesis is to map the biggest achievements of Czech middle-distance and long- distance runners in the period from the end of the Second World War to the present days. Through the study of at that time current materials, interviews with former and current athletes the most interesting facts from their athletic training will be pointed out. The thesis will also further elaborate the origin and the development of athletics in the Czech Republic. Athletics belongs to one of the basic sports. Unfortunately, nowadays it is losing its popularity compared to some other sports. The thesis will point out that athletics used to have and still has great things to offer. Last but not least, I would like to map the history of middle and long distances and also focus on the development of training methods on these distances. The introductory section of this diploma thesis discusses the general characteristics of Sokol and the Česká obec Sokolská. In the following section, the author introduces the most significant personalities that participated in the origins of Sokol in the Czech lands, as well as abroad. Subsequently, the author briefly introduces Josef Scheiner as an eminent mayor of Sokol. The main part of the thesis discusses the topic of Sokol in Prague - Scheiner region, which outlines the origin and development of the twenty-one sporting unions that are located in the current area of Prague. Tittle: History of athletic club Sokol Hradec Králové Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to focus on the origin and development of the athletics section of the Sokol Hradec Králové. First of all, the origin of Sokol on the territory of Czechoslovakia will be mentioned. Subsequently, the thesis will focus on the founding of the Sokol in Hradec Králové, under which the athletic section falls, and then there will be a mention of other Sokol units in the territory of Hradec Králové. The following chapter will be devoted to the historical development of the Hradec Králové athletic club from its foundation until the 1990s. The thesis will also mention important Hradec Králové athletes and their achievements. The thesis will conclude with a comparison of the Hradec Králové and Pardubice athletic clubs. Preparatory exercises for a rehearsal of a proper technique of hurdles for children of older school age

(anglicky) The presented bachelor thesis is focused on one of the factors of sports performance, mainly on the training of the correct technique of hurdles in the period of older school age. Nowadays, correct execution technique is very often ignored in training and, on the contrary, great importance is given to training volume and intensity. The aim of this thesis is to provide a manual for beginning and more advanced coaches that contains a stack of several preparatory exercises to improve hurdling technique. In the theoretical part, the reader is introduced to information related to athletic disciplines, and hurdles are discussed more in detail. Due to the orientation of the thesis, there are described the age peculiarities of mainly older school-age children. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the elements necessary to improve performance in hurdles. In the practical part, individual exercises to improve the technique of obstacle runs are described in detail and there are given the photographs of correct execution for each exercise. In addition, the reader learns the most common errors in the execution of the presented exercises and how eliminate these mistakes. Current conception of methodics of alpine skiing in the Czech Republic and other countries

The presented bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of selected foreign skiing methodologies. It includes the historical development of different concepts of skiing and turning training, analyses the current methodology of skiing training in the Czech Republic and presents the connections between the individual components of INTERSKI CR. Last but not least, it also describes the basic biomechanical principles of skiing, without the knowledge of which it is impossible to understand the principle of putting skis into a spin. The ambition of the bachelor thesis is to compare specific movement actions in different methodologies, namely parallel stance, inverted stance and vertical movement of the body centre of gravity.
