Computer Identification Using Time Information

This work deals with the identification of a remote computer by monitoring TCP timestamps of the tracked device. It is possible to determine computer's clock skew from these timestamps as the clock skew is unique for every device. We are able to differentiate devices even though they have changed location, network address or connection type. Passive data capturing ensures that the identification process is invisible to the fingerprinted computer. It is necessary that the network communication of fingerprinted computer is visible to the observing device. We are able to utilise only TCP traffic with timestamps enabled.
Stroke mechanism of bridge crane

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the lifting mechanism of the crane cat, for a bridge storage crane with a load capacity of 8,000 kg. The thesis contains a critical research of similar existing solutions and the selection of the appropriate concept. The design includes calculations of the basic parameters of the stroke, and based on them selects appropriate rope, pulleys, and design of the rope drum. Furthermore, there are calculated and selected suitable components of the stroke mechanism such as electric motor, clutch, brake and gearbox. The last part deals with the design of the bearing, the drum pin and the calculation of the shaft key. The output of the work is the technical drawing of the whole assembly of the mechanism and the welding subassembly of the rope drum.
Design of automatic clamping device for CNC milling machine

This work is focused on the design and construction of a device for automatic replacement of workpieces for CNC milling machines. The thesis contains research in the field of automatic replacement of workpieces. The design itself can be divided into two parts. The first part is the selection of a universal clamping platform and the design of a technological pallet. The second part is the design and construction of the clamping device. First, different design variants are proposed.. These variants are then evaluated by multi-criteria analysis, based on which the most suitable variant is chosen. This is followed by the selection of suitable components for the assembly of the universal clamping platform and the construction of the technological pallet. The main part of the work is the structural design of the pneumatic wedge vice, including the necessary calculations and design of individual components. The output is technical drawings of chosen components and a technical drawing and CAD model of the assembly.
Analysis and Demonstration of Selected Network Attacks

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to describe and realize selected network attacks which are taught at the FIT, Brno University of Technology. The thesis includes demonstration exercises that can be used for teaching computer network security. First part of this work discusses theory for each attack and possible security solutions. In the second part the practical realizations (for each network attack) are described.

In this work we present an application for observing and recording data about movements of a human eye when looking at a computer screen. We use two commercially available devices: I4Control by Medicton Group Ltd. and TrackIR 4 by NaturalPoint. We build a software package which interfaces with the SpaNav system for cognitive research. We also provide an extensible framework for creating other eye tracking applications.
Direct democracy in the Czech republic

The main topic of the presented dissertation is the direct democracy and its legal institutions incorporated in the legal order of the Czech Republic. The first part of the dissertation is dedicated to the democracy as a government form and to the historical breakthroughs in its development. The key historical milestones on the way from despotism, through the Athen democracy, followed by long period of democratic deficit, up to the renaissance of democracy during bloody revolutions are mentioned as well. Further attention is paid to the representative and direct democracy, their mutual compatibility and definition of basic elements within both conceptions. The second part is referred to the direct democracy legal institutions in the legal order of the Czech Republic. Historical commentary is followed by general interpretation de lege lata. The direct democracy legal institutions are pursued from the year 1918 to the present. Merely commentary on the petition law goes deeper into history. Within recent legislation it is being proceeded from larger to smaller (a maiori ad minus). Our attention is in the first instance focused on the direct democracy legal institutions in the constitutional order of the Czech republic.
