Evaluation of aplicability of Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe criteria on a long-distance hiking trail in the Czech Republic

The diploma paper, Evaluation of aplicability of Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe criteria on a long-distance hiking trail in the Czech Republic, deals with the process of certification of long-distance hiking trails in accordance with the norm called Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe. The norm is based on German norms for certificating long-distance hiking trails which brought remarkable success. So far, there are no such trails in the Czech Republic. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide answers to questions concerning the aplicability of European norms on Czech hiking trails. Specifically, it will focus on the aplication of the norms on the long-distance hiking trail Stezka podel Luznice and its evaluation.
Analysis of the offer of guide services in Olomouc region

This thesis deals with one of the tourism services - the guidance. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the offer of guide services in Olomouc region and its evaluation in relation to the demand. The theoretical part focuses on the basic terminology of guiding, on characteristics of a guide in professional terms and on the professional associations of guides in tourism. The practical part includes an analysis of guide services in chosen sights of Olomouc region and analysis of demand for guide services. In conclusion is an evaluation of supply and demand on the basis of the analysis.
Impact of an Expo on the host destination

The aim of this thesis is to characterize a number of Expos that took place in recent years, and to analyze their impact on the host regions. Two World Expos and two International Specialized Expos will be analyzed. This thesis aims to describe the differences between these two categories and between individual exhibitions within the same category. When analyzing the impacts the greatest attention will be paid to the impacts associated with tourism. With reference to the analysis, it will be possible to say whether the Expos have importance nowadays.
The benefit analysis of long-distance trails EuroVelo 4 and 7 for Prague

The thesis is focused on effects of cycle tourism on a destination. In the introductory chapters there is the basic cycling terminology explained, the most common issues are discussed, great emphasis is put on long-distance cycling trails. The main goal is to analyse how EuroVelo 4 a 7 influence tourism in Prague. By means of a questionnaire survey among cyclists - visitors to the capital - the general (cyclo)consumer behaviour is defined and the benefits (brought to the destination because of the trails) are expressed in numbers.
Marketing analysis of student´s consumer behaviour and preferences in travelling

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of consumer behaviour and preferences of university students concerning tourism. The aim of the thesis is to prepare set of recommendations of marketing mix tools setting which should help tourism service providers to market effectively to students. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of basic terms that are used in the thesis. Furthermore, it provides the analysis of existing data and description of student consumer behaviour and trends in youth tourism. The practical part focuses on the research itself conducted by interviewing students at the universities all over the Czech Republic. The outcome are the recommendations and tipps which are based on the research analysis how to prepare effective marketing strategy and how to set individual tools of marketing mix in order to attract youth travellers.

The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of Czech households' purchasing power on the supply and demand in the tourism market of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, various components of the tourism market of the Czech Republic are discussed, including but not limited to consumer behavior of Czechs in tourism depending on the households' disposable income or the ways service providers can position themselves towards the customers.

The city of Pilsen offers high tourism potential, which has not been exploited fully. The municipality of the city is aware of the situation and would like to improve it in the future. Apart from other steps that should be done at tourism field, is essential to create competitive tourism product that would appeal to specific target groups and improve incoming traffic to the city. Tourist product proposal is the main topic of this thesis. Several tourism products are presented and those should aim at senior citizens tourism and cultural tourists. Also, specifications and needs of those particular groups are mentioned.

Diploma thesis deals with regional branding that contributes to regional development and sustainable tourism. The first part discusses the effects of tourism in a region and the principles of sustainable development. Further it describes in detail how the system of regional labelling works and who is in charge of it. In addition the examples of good practice from abroad are included. The main part of the thesis focuses on a brand called "PRÁCHEŇSKO regional product". The aim of the thesis is to find out what the attitudes of visitors in the Prácheňsko region towards certified regional products are. Therefore the research through questionnaires among visitors, manufacturers, official vendors and service providers was conducted.
