Substitute family care

The bachelor thesis focuses on substitute family care in the Czech Republic and its importance for the child. The theoretical part defines the basic terms, describes history and the forms of substitute family care. It also deals with the process of placing a child in substitute family care, the preparation of foster parents and the legislation regulating substitute family care. The practical part is based on qualitative research in families with children in foster and tutelary care, in families with adopted children, in Klokánek and in SOS Children's Villages. In the final part of the work the gained knowledge is analysed and processed and at the same time the importance of substitute family care for the child is pointed out.
Human alienation from nature

My thesis deals with the problem of human alienation from nature. Thesis says about lists of lifestyle changes a person from the 19th century and the negative impacts of alienation. It also focuses on the child and the nature around him. It suggests possible compensation - sport in nature, green therapy, civic associations, eco-centers and framework educational programme for elementary education. A self-made research determines what types of environments the pupils in the fifth grade of elementary schools in Brandys nad Labem - Stara Boleslav use and spend their leisure time there. Whether the town Brandys nad Labem - Stara Boleslav offers to students natural space witch students may use for their relaxation and doing sports. The thesis is studying whom pupils spend their leisure time outside with and who is their partner or guide. Outdoor education on primary school

This diploma thesis searches opportunities for foundations and inovations of schoolyards, which improve their education potencial. It draws on arguments for achieving the goals of primary education at schoolyards. Presented options are kategorized to three groupes by their primary function: to learn, to play, to work. This research deals with current stage of education potencial of schoolyards at chosen ordinary schools in Rakovník, Louny and Kladno districts. It focuses on schoolyards area and main ways of improving the education potencial of schoolyards. The second part of research finds answers on the same questions at schools which their schoolyards for outdoor learning some years actively construct.
Suitable places for excursions around Kolín for environmental education at the first stage of primary schools

The thesis deals with environmental education for the pupils of primary education in the natural localities near Kolín and shows teachers how to undertake the so called place- based education. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of excursion and environmental education that are based on available scholarly literature. Furthermore, it discusses documents which delimitate environmental education as a cross-disciplinary topic at primary schools and describes natural conditions in the chosen region. The aim of the research part was to find out which localities teachers use for outdoor activities and to create a methodical proposal of environmental excursion for the most frequently visited localities. Practical use of Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science Charles University in Prague for Education of Lower Grades of Primary School

The theme of this diploma thesis is Practical use of the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague for Education of Lower Grades of Primary Schools. The main purpose is to chart current status of a theme of botanical garden in curricular documents, namely The Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and School Educational Programmes of chosen elementary schools located in Prague 2. Further, the presence of this theme is explored in the sample of schoolbooks for the 4th and the 5th grades of elementary schools. There is a questionnaire survey realized among teachers of the 4th and the 5th grades in the schools listed above. The aim is to find out, how much the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague is used for practical education. The results are shown in charts and graphs. The readiness of this botanical garden for practical education of lower grades pupils is found out by an interview with its vice-director. The next part of thesis contains planning and realizing a lesson with the 5th grade pupils. The lesson demonstrates a possibility of more frequent practical education in the botanical garden. Ing. Jitka Vodáková, CSc. ABSTRAKT This Bachelor thesis highlights the possibilities of environmental education in kindergarten and school company with practical activities. In the theoretical part, first of all, I am mapping out the framework education programs for pre-school and basic education and the charakterizuji environmental education and its interconnections with practical activities. The aim of the practical part of the drafting and realisation of a minor part of the project, focusing on environmental education. The project was primarily to provide children the opportunity to get acquainted with some methods such as observation, the use of the results for other activities, exploring the connection between different phenomena in nature, get to know the environment in which they live and to obtain a positive relationship to him. Overall, it was aimed to promote the development of the child as a personality-oriented proenvironmentaly. Nature Trail in the Klanovice Forest with Support ICT

This diploma thesis has aimed to elaborate a nature trail in the area of Klánovice Forest, which is the part of a nature park Klánovice - Čihadla in the eastern part of Prague and to complete the trail with electronic educational materials. The nature trail itself will consist of tagg stops enabling visitors to download texts and materials into their cell phones or tablets. The texts of the stops are supplemented with educational presentations, school work sheets and field work sheets. The content of the stops and related teaching materials have been prepared in accordance with systematic teaching of natural history and biology at primary schools and lower grades of grammar schools. The thesis also contains the results of a questionnaire survey of pupils' attitudes towards the use of modern technology at class; 213 questionnaires have been evaluated in total in the years 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013. The last part of the thesis and appendices contain own texts of stops and related educational materials. In spring 2014 this trail will be realized and educational materials will become a part of the texts on the individual stops and will be available to wide public. Autism and Zootheraphy : Experiences from Special Centers

The aim of this thesis is to find out chat forms of zoorehabilitation exists and how it can help to people with autism and thein families. The work begins with a brief definitiv of autism and its history. The FIFA charter is devoted to autism spektrum disorders, its influence on social relationships, communication, imagination, games and interests. The sixth charter deals with disorders of the autism spektrum. I describe each disorder separately, its characteristics, even if there are not fixed boundaries between different disordes. The seventh charter is devoted to the diagnosis of autism spektrum disorders, chat are the metod sof diagnosis. Next charter describers chat options do parents of these childern have in education. Following charter describes Civic associations, that arise and hepl parents of childern affected by autism and ether formo f disabilities. In the tenth and in the next five chapters are described different types zoorehabilitation, its origin and use in the Czech Republic. From the seventeenth charter starts the practical part where i described free different stories of families with a child who has one of the autism spektrum disorder.
