Consecutively, there is evaluated the meaning of testing of the functional parameters on the ski-mountaineer trainer. Methods: Interindividual and intraindividual descriptive study of 10 ski-mountaineerers of middle and high level performance. Results: The respondents reached the average value of VO2max 63,3 ml.kg-1 .min-1 on the ski-mountaineer trainer, 67,5 ml.kg-1 .min-1 on a treadmill and 66,5 ml.kg-1 .min-1 on a bicycle ergometer. The average measured HR on the ski-mountaineer trainer was 179 heartbeats/min, on the treadmill 185 heartbeats/min and on the bycicle ergometer 183 heartbeats/min. The average value of R reached the value of 1,09 on the ski-mountaineer trainer, 1,18 on the treadmill and 1, 19 on the bycicle ergometer. The highest measured value of VO2max reached on the treadmill was 79,3 ml.kg-1 .min-1 , the bycicle ergometer enabled to reach maximum 76,5 ml.kg-1 .min-1 and the highest value reached on the ski-mountaineer trainer was...
Comparison of proportional biological age and theoretical skeletal age on the example of swimmers
Peřinka, Filip ; Musálek, Martin (advisor) ; Heller, Jan (referee)
and key words Problem definition: Assessment of the biological age is possible to obtain by several methods, both simple and more sophisticated. Results will surely not always comport. Currently radiography of distal epiphysis antebrachia and ossa manus (ossa carpi , ossa metacarpi, phalanges) is considered to be the most exact method, however for the reason of unavailability of X-ray pictures, we require for assessment of the bone age, this method is used exceptionally mainly for its invasiveness. Theoretical estimation of the bone age might be a kind of alternative method when assessed from derived coefficients of regression equations, made on a base of conventional radiographic method. In the contrast of that, age rating by biological proportionality is considered a substitution of the bone age criteria. So, the problem is the mutual diversity and difference of the two methods which are relatively most exact. The Aim: In the thesis, we deal with comparison of the biological proportional age and theoretical bone age within swimming youth, in age range 11-15 years altogether. The main goal is to learn the difference of the biological maturity by using two methods determining the biological age coming out from anthropological measurement of individuals. Methods of resolution: Assessment of the...
Stereo reconstruction from wide-angle images
Heller, Jan ; Pajdla, Tomáš (advisor) ; Suk, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis presents rectification methods of an omnidirectional stereo pair. Several methods are developed and a novel rectification method called stereographic rectification is introduced. In the second part of the thesis, a method of 3D reconstruction from a stereo pair rectified using an arbitrary method of the adduced methods is presented. Further, a method of judging the accuracy of an essential matrix based on the stereographic rectification is devised. At the end of the thesis, several examples of image pairs rectified by OmniRect Matlab toolbox developed as a part of this work, are shown.

Title: Monitoring of reaction abilities in different age categories of judo athletes Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to assess the influence of judo on the reaction abilities among different age groups of judo athletes. This finding should help to develop a view of necessity of focusing on reaction abilities during exercise unit. Methods: During the research a reactometer was used to capture simple and complex reaction time to visual stimulus and tactile response. Overall 166 individuals (100 men, 66 women) took part of the monitoring from which 3 were excluded. Every proband has undergone one test measurement (5 stimuls at least) and two evaluated ones (20 seconds each). The shorter - reaction time score was consider as a result for the particular test. The outcomes were utilized via Kruskal - Wallis test, Pearsons's and Spearman's correlation coefficient, Mann - Whitney's test and others. Results: The biggest difference between reaction period was observed between the age group of 8-10 and older groups. This category has also significantly differed in reaction period and the highest median. Statistically any notable difference was not confirmed among judo athletes and our control group in contrary with the situation between individual age categories. The hypothesis of judo athletes training...
