Experimental and finite element analysis of composite gun barrels
Mochar, Dominik ; Trnka, Jan ; Chlada, Milan ; Valeš, František ; Gabriel, Dušan ; Červ, Jan ; Vtípil, J.
In this work experimental and numerical investigation of composite gun barrels was studied. The history of the stress-induced deformations located at the center of gun barrels on the outer surface generated by impact loading was measured for six types of barrels. The obtained signals were subsequently evaluated using wavelet transformation. Finally, the finite element analysis in Abaqus and MARC software for optimum composite material M46J was performed.
Animation of the stress-strain behaviour of helical springs
Gabriel, Tomáš ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Hartl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to the creation of educational animations depicting issues with the design of helical springs. Thesis contains collection of the necessary materials, describes the animating process and presents the final results. Main topics of the work are the stress across a cross-section of a loaded spring, fatigue and natural frequency of an oscillating spring.

Study of the effect of immunological sdjuvants on experimental treatment of HPV-induced tumors by recombinant VACV and DNA vaccines
Gabriel, Pavel ; Němečková, Šárka (advisor) ; Mělková, Zora (referee) ; Reiniš, Milan (referee)
1 ABSTRACT The success of cancer vaccines depends on factors associated with the vaccine, which define the main parameters of effective immune responses such as its size and quality, as well as on factors related with the host, represented by the immunosuppressive mechanisms that allow the tumor to escape recognition by the immune system or negatively influence the function of effector T-cells. Attenuated, non-replicating viruses are at present preferred as VACV for safety reasons. A problem may arise concerning their lack of immunogenicity. Through the deletions of non-essential genes, vaccination vectors are therefore developed based on attenuated rVACV capable of replication, which induce a strong immune response. Genes of various immunological adjuvants (e.g., genes for cytokines and costimulatory molecules) are inserted into the vectors for the purpose of eliminating the influence of the immunosuppressive mechanisms of tumors. The first part of the work describes our study of the influence of vCCI on biological properties of rVACV derived from the Prague strain. Testing of vCCI deletion and insertion mutants expressing tumor associated protein HPV16 E7 has shown that secreted vCCI attenuated the virus in vivo, which correlated with reduced levels of the corresponding CC chemokines in the blood compared...
Non-verbal creativity development in field of technical projection basics
Veselý, Bedřich ; Křenek, Milan (advisor) ; Nikl, Jiří (referee) ; Švejda, Gabriel (referee)
The thesis addresses the problems of developing pupils' non-verbal creativity in technical projection basics curriculum segments. The introductory theoretical part defines the idea of creativity and factors influencing its development. The second part is empirically explorative and deals with the state of general, unspecific and technical creativity of basic school pupils and especially high school students with the possibility of non-verbal creativity build-up. Under the terms of the thesis, an educational system for non-verbal creativity development was devised, which particularly focuses on the field of depth perception. The effectiveness of projected system was tested by an experimental research. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The Use of Webcasting systems in education
Novák, Milan ; Rambousek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Novák, Jaroslav (referee) ; Švejda, Gabriel (referee)
The issues discussed in this thesis are the problematics of making use of web casting systems in education. The aim of this research is the identification and analysis of web casting systems as a contemporary kind of audiovisual or multi-medial directed instructional media. A wide spectrum of properties and characteristics of web casting systems are subject to exploitation with the aim to understand their didactical specifics and possibilities of the functional use within the frame of innovation methods and techniques in education. The results of theoretical and empirical exploitation provide a solution for a model design of a web casting system. By detailing the theory of this specific area of didactical instruments, this thesis attempts to contribute to the development of information and technical education didactics and conscious of the growing importance of technologies for the support of education in the society, of knowledge and pedagogical science generally.
The use of e-learning at the Faculty of Informatics and Management UHK
Poulová, Petra ; Křenek, Milan (advisor) ; Švejda, Gabriel (referee) ; Cyrus, Pavel (referee)
Thesis The Utilization of eLearning at Faculty of Informatics and Management UHK deals with ICT potential especially eLearning one that could be utilised in the process of education at university level. The work includes a case study "Survey of Attitudes of Academic Teachers and Students at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Králové". Research part of the thesis is focused on proving hypotheses referring to comparison of study results gained by students in the traditional face-to-face education and eLearning way of academic education. Experimental MANET network in NS-3 simulator
Vadkerti, Gabriel ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartl, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of MANET networks. It presents routing protocols, their types, advantages and disadvantages. The protocols, such as AODV and OSPF, are analyzed in detail. The next section describes the NS-3 simulator and the meaning of its key codes. There are named and explained the most common mobility models and their correct writing into the source code. A MANET network simulation is created and a program for indicating the routes of packets through the network is introduced. The next describes traffic models for data networks. A simple traffic model for NS-3 and a program for graphic representation of this traffic were created. The DCE module for NS-3 is introduced in the last section and a demonstrational program of using Linux stack is created.
Tactics for rural areas, possibilities of regulation: Kysuce region
Šuška, Milan ; Sopirová, Alžbeta (referee) ; Löw, Jiří (referee) ; Koutný, Jan (referee) ; Kopáčik, Gabriel (advisor)
This thesis defines the values and qualities of rural areas, describes the transformations of architecture and public spaces in the Kysuce region, especially after the year 1989. The development is compared with for¬eign rural regions in Europe. The assignment was to introduce foreign local regulations, verify their influ¬ence on rural areas and modern architecture. The thesis explains the meaning and reasons of architectural and urban planning regulations, verifies the legislative possibilities of their application in Kysuce region and suggests tactics leading to increase of a building culture in the region.
