Solution static traffic on a housing estate in Bazantnice in Hodonin

This master thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of parking on the estate Bažantnice in Hodonin, determining the required number of parking spaces according to CSN 73 6110 and CSN 73 6110 / Z1. The second part deals with the design of possible modifications of local roads. The aim is to increase the number of parking spaces in the area. A newly designed residential zone and zone tempo 30 leads to traffic calming.
Communication as an effective tool for running company

The theoretical part of the thesis concerns the explanation of the term communication, introduces its functions, describes the communication process and various kinds of communication, and also deals with obstacles that may arise in communication. It lists various communication tools and instruments that help the internal communication within a company to fulfill its task. It points out that efficient communication is the essential prerequisite for the successful functioning of a company and helps to win employees' loyalty towards the employer and strengthen their motivation. The part of the thesis focuses on the communication level in the company - Atel Energy AG, organizational component. It includes actual evidence from the above mentioned company obtained in the employee survey and completed by remarks from direct observation in the company. Part of the survey information that directly concerns the internal communication is presented in the thesis and summarized in the overall assessment.
Management and leadership in 20th century

The bachelor thesis describes the development of most famous theories of management and leadership in 20th century that had and still do have great influence over our managerial and organisational thinking. The focus of this paper is to describe and critically evaluate the contribution of these theoretical disciplines from a human factor's perception of organisation. The first part of the thesis is focused on "big theoretical concepts" of "taylorism", Fayol's concept of managerial functions and principles in management, human relations school and theory of bureaucracy. The second part considers modern and post industrial theories influenced by psychology and information technology and those built on the basis of former great thinkers of management.
Effective recruitment selection and adaptation of sales representatives

This bachelor thesis has been focused on sales representatives recruitment selection and their following adaptation. There are clear determined and linked activities which precede recruitment and adaptation process. Without these activities it is not possible to carry out complex recruitment process. Attention is paid to a job analysis process, which is followed by a job description forming. The chapter, which is aimed to the theory of competencies and competency model, is an important part of this thesis. If recruitment selection is well realized and the selected candidate accepts job offer and joins the position, adaptation process of a new employee will follow. Adaptation is an important period when manager of the new employee plays very significant role. Adaptation of the new employee, which is implemented in a high quality, can start his professional development and futher career growth. Systematic education in the organization in conditions of team cooperation

Team work, cooperation inside the teams and among the teams - that is the aim for a lot of companies nowadays and in future. However there have been already some companies in which team work has become reality. My bachelor thesis summarizes the experience of middle-sized company in which team cooperation was established almost in all parts of the firm. Firm/corporate education encourages team cooperation among people and on the other hand team cooperation supports the people's interest to educate and to reach personal growth. The key terms "systematic education" and "team cooperation" are defined in the first chapter of presented thesis with the definition of terms. The second 5 chapter defines the position of education in the management system of a company. The third one briefly describes the manufacturing firm which has been chosen for my thesis, and the fourth contains the analytical part. The particular experience during implementation of the system of education in the conditions of team cooperation is introduced in the next chapter. Final part deals with the overall experience and defines the particular suggestions of remedy in other development of education in that company.
Intercultural communication in firms

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the cultural influence on communication in firms. The work draws from topics of general intercultural communication, which I then relate to the corporate life. My starting point is the assumption that Czech firms have so far rather been unaware of, neglected or underestimated the cultural influence on the corporate communication. Therefore I focused in particular on the most important and basic topics of intercultural communication. The aim is to provide both managers and employees with enough arguments so as to make them accept the intercultural communication as a relevant topic of the current corporate life and aware of the training needs which would develop the overall communication competence. In the first chapter I deal with the corporate communication, then with the topic of culture and eventually with the intercultural communication in firms. As a specific part I included few results of an inquiry with employees of a Czech branch of German IT company that employs specialist coming from a wide variety of countries. Education towards integration - the case of public libraries

Recognizing the actuality of diverse society we live in, my thesis aims to describe the relation between integration of migrants and education. Firstly I am trying to describe the learning from everyday life that occurs in new social context for a newcoming migrant. Based on this notion I evaluate the possibility of intentional education that could ease and support adaptation process. I try to identify core needs and themes that educational activities should comprehend to fulfil the desired form of education. Later I am questioning to which extent is possible to influence an integration process by educational action. Second part of the thesis is dedicated to a European project called Libraries for All which was aimed to promote upgrade of multicultural services in local public libraries. My aim is to present the current trend in librarianship and migrant work within culturally diverse societies.
Professional competencies of experiential learning instructor

The main goal of this dissertation is to provide information about professional competencies of the experiential learning instructor. I would like to focus on the competencies which make him able to present himself as an educator at experiential courses organized for companies. Learning through the experience is regarded as a very progressive and often applied access to adult education. Regarding the company practice, this methodological concept is most often used for soft skills development, specifically for individuals and teams on occasion of teambuilding trainings. If we omit the participants, one of the most crucial roles during the whole process is dedicated to the instructor. Apart from the names as tutor, trainer or lecturer is the name instructor used commonly for the educator in the specific area of experiential teambuilding courses. The whole learning process is held in the instructor's hands, while they are constantly supporting participants on their way to acquire new knowledge, skills and information. In the ideal state, we develop those of the participants' competencies which were specified at the preparation process of targeting. The motivation of non-professional musicians from the conductor's perspective

This bachelor thesis The motivation of non-professional musicians from the conductor's perspective deals with motivation in amateur choirs. First, overview of relevant information from literature will be provided, in particular how it works and how to use it for effective stimulation to achieve high performance. The importance of leisure education and its specifics and possibilities will be demonstrated to explain how it works in amateur choirs. The psychological aspect of conductor's work is also significant, with focus on the personality of musicians, specifically conductors and choir members. Objective of this work is to provide conductors with deeper insight into the issues of leading and appropriate motivation of musicians, to fulfill demanding requirements that are coming from all sides. This work is enriched by field research - interviews with five conductors and a survey of choir members. Conductors present their ensembles and their point of view on what is important in their work to become successful. The questionnaire focuses on expected characteristics, what personality should a good conductor be according to choir members. Problems of awareness and competency of employees on the attitude of senior management to human resources issue

Topic of this Bachelor thesis are human resources and their utilization and significance for the way in which organizations work. The aim is to introduce a problem of factors which influence the behaviour of people in senior positions today, or, to be more specific, their approach to the problem of human resource management. It is an actual issue with a great impact on work of organizations and their success in the competitive environment. The work also offers an outline of the history of the above problem and the gradual development of the role of a personnel professionals. Apart from motivation and significance of the pursuit of employees' welfare the work also deals with the impact of easier access to information thanks to modem information and communication technologies, which enabled both prospective employers and prospective employees the more detailed mapping of the situation on the labour market. This work also contains a brief outline of a problem of performance appraisal and employees' participation in decision-making processes in the terms of a given organization. Last but not least, the reader will also find here a comparison of two different approaches to managing people - management and leadership. 5
