Práce se v teoretické části věnuje vysvětlení pojmu komunikace, přibližuje její funkce, popisuje komunikační proces a druhy komunikace, zabývá se také překážkami, které mohou při komunikaci vzniknout. Vyjmenovává nejrůznější komunikační nástroje a prostředky, které interní komunikaci v organizaci napomáhají plnit svou funkci. Poukazuje na to, že účinná komunikace je nezbytným předpokladem úspěšného fungování organizace, spoluvytváří loajalitu zaměstnanců k zaměstnavateli a zvyšuje jejich motivaci. Součástí práce je také praktická část zaměřující se na úroveň komunikace v organizaci, kterou je Atel Energy AG, organizační složka. Zahrnuje konkrétní poznatky z výše jmenované organizace, které byly zjištěny v zaměstnaneckém průzkumu a doplněny postřehy z přímého pozorování v organizaci. Část informací z průzkumu, která se bezprostředně dotýká interní komunikace, je v práci prezentována a shrnuta v celkovém vyhodnocení. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns the explanation of the term communication, introduces its functions, describes the communication process and various kinds of communication, and also deals with obstacles that may arise in communication. It lists various communication tools and instruments that help the internal communication within a company to fulfill its task. It points out that efficient communication is the essential prerequisite for the successful functioning of a company and helps to win employees' loyalty towards the employer and strengthen their motivation. The part of the thesis focuses on the communication level in the company - Atel Energy AG, organizational component. It includes actual evidence from the above mentioned company obtained in the employee survey and completed by remarks from direct observation in the company. Part of the survey information that directly concerns the internal communication is presented in the thesis and summarized in the overall assessment.
