Art Project - Guidelines for Beginners

The bachelor thesis focuses on the definition of the concept of art series and its successful and unsuccessful strategies, which can be encountered in their planning. In the theoretical part I utilize theoretic and professional knowledge of the art series and their categories. I will also focus on the development of children's drawing in preschool age and on art activities in kindergarten. In the practical part I will propound my own art series, which will arise the subject of my empirical sound. The research will be comprised of a reflection of the art series and the self- reflection of my own previous art series planning.
Two-branch study as an opportunity to be original

The thesis focuses on the possibility of designing an original concept of integration of art education with English language. The theoretical part primarily deals with the issues of creativity and originality in teaching art education, with the possibility of connecting art education and English language education and with the concept of language as a code. In the didactic-research part a didactic project based on authorial approach to integration of English language in art education is created, put into practice and critically evaluated. The first realization of the project aims to verify the possibility of its conduction and to evaluate the project from students' point of view. It is followed by the second realization, which is used for purposes of a research inquiry focused on gathering findings concerned with the integration of art education with English language in the realization of authorial project of interdisciplinary teaching. In the research part author's own reflections of the lessons, selected reflections of the students and selected students' art works (gathered during the realization of the project) are analysed. The topic of this diploma thesis is the issue of self-styling and self-identification in the life of each individual in regards to social networks, provided from a theoretical, didactic and artistic point of view. Self-styling and self-identification are a natural part of the mental development of each human being. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the origin and development of an individual's identity from childhood to adulthood. It monitors changes in the development and acceptance of oneself, which is caused by the regular use of social networks. This part of the thesis also deals with the effects of social networks on the development of identity in adolescents and children of preschool and early school age. It also opens up the topic of communication through social networks and the presentation of individuals while "being" in cyberspace. The next part of the thesis, issuing an artistic point of view, is addressing the matter of revealing one's own identity through mirroring, using the medium of photography. The art part captures this issue specifically in the photograph of oneself, also known as a selfie. Art Education and key competencies.

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of art education on the development of key competences within the curriculum for the elementary school. The thesis explores the potential of this discipline and the possibility to apply it to the development and strengthening of cognitive functions, self-confidence, social and communication skills in children in the elderly school age. The first theoretical part focuses on the concept of art education and its present currents in relation to both the changing educational content and some of the problems encountered in common school practice. Particular attention is paid to the animo-centric approach to which the author reports, and at the same time he feels the need to define the boundary between developing competencies and solving specific problems of individual pupils or classroom dynamics, between artefiletics and activities that approach their approach to artetherapy. The second part elaborates the findings of in-depth interviews with experts in pedagogy and psychology that describe the experience with artefiletics, artetherapy and pedagogical work in school and their potential to develop key competencies. Forms of art studies in secondary vocational education

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of secondary vocational schools, specifically secondary art schools completed by the graduation exam. The Czech Republic has a relatively dense network of these schools, however, from the point of view of pedagogy it is insufficiently researched. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to describe art education at secondary schools in the Czech Republic, to state the forms of art disciplines at secondary schools, the organization of teaching in specific forms of art studies and the curriculum of subjects. The work also deals with issues of the number of art schools in the Czech Republic, with the qualifications of teachers at these schools and the number of pupils admitted to these schools. The didactic part of the work will be devoted to qualitative research focused on the form of graphic design, as the most numerous form of art study represented at secondary vocational art education. The aim of the research is to describe the real situation in a sample of secondary vocational schools with the field of graphic design.
