Mobile Game for Practicing English Vocabulary

Mobile Application for Scanning Hitori from Newspapers and Finishing It
Burešová, Monika ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with development of mobile application with elements of computer vision and artificial intelligence, which is designed for Android operating system. The application is used for scanning Hitori from photo and then finishing it  on a mobile device. Moreover, this application provides hint, undo or shows a violation of rules of the game. The OpenCV library is used for image processing, Tesseract library is used for digits recognition. Scanned games are stored in a database, which is implemented using Room library. Hitori solution is found by combination of backtracking algorithm and known techniques for solving this game. The final application is available on Google Play and is named Hitori Scan & Play.
Mobile Application for Scanning Kakuro from Newspapers and Finishing It
Rein, Michal ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create a mobile application, which allows to scan a Kakuro game from any printed media and helps it's user solving it. The solution is composed of client and server sides, where client is the mobile application implemented in the Flutter framework, which collaborates with server side to construct a virtual playground and offer solution of the game to the user. This thesis also includes studies of computer vision and machine learning techniques, software engineering and algorithmic solving of the Kakuro game, which are necessary for constructing such  applications. The outcome of this work is a fully functional mobile application which allows it's user to scan the game and offers help with solution. The app is available for devices with Android and iOS operating systems.
Mobile Application for Scanning Sudoku from Newspapers and Finishing It
Lazorík, Juraj ; Kanich, Ondřej (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the creation of a mobile application, that scans sudoku layout from the newspaper and allows its solving. The application is developed for the Android and is implemented in Kotlin. Scanning is done by taking picture of layout with camera. Basic image processing methods such as thresholding or Canny's edge detector are used to detect the sudoku layout. Number recognition is provided by convolution neural network with 99.08 % accuracy. The application allows solving sudoku with hints. Elimination methods and backtracking are used to find solution. Each scanned sudoku is stored in the database so the user can always return to any game. The final version of the application is published in the Google Play store.

Button Search in Forms
Dyk, Tomáš ; Šolony, Marek (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes a system for automatic detection of buttons from a screen photo. The system is used together with a robotic arm and a camera to detect buttons on the screens of embedded devices. After detecting buttons on the screen, the algorithm commands the robotic arm to click on the position of the detected button. The algorithm creates a navigation map in which all screens of the device are visible by systematically clicking through all buttons on all screens. For each screen, the positions of the detected buttons and the destination to which the screen points are stored.
