Author: Bc. Michaela Tejnecká Title: The effect of regularly applied Nordic walking on selected cardiorespiratory parameters in adults after heart valve surgery. Aim: The aim of this work was to analyze the effect of six months of Nordic walking intervention on selected casrdiorespiratory parameters in adults after heart valve surgery. Methods: The study included ten individuals (mean age 62 years) who were at least five years apart after heart valve surgery. Blood pressure (BP) was measured using a pulsed wrist tonometer, blood oxygen saturation (BOS) and heart rate (HR) were measured using a pulse oximeter, and the ejection fraction of the heart (EF) was evaluated echocardiographically. Nordic walking training units took plaxe once a week for 6 months. During this intervention, the level of training gradually increased both in distance and elevation of the terrain. Results: In all probands there was an average reduction in systolic blood pressure during exercise by an average of 10,3 mmHg and a reductionin heart rate during exercise by an average of 24 beats per minute. The resting ejection fraction increased by an average of 5,5% after six month intervention. These changes were statistically significant (p<0,01). The results of the work point to the benefits of Nordic walking for cardiac...

Plintová, Ester ; Kovářová, Lenka (advisor) ; Daďová, Klára (referee)
TITLE OF THESIS: Analysis of postural functions and posture in triathletes aged 10-15 years. OBJECTIVES OF THESIS: The aim of this work is to analyze the condition of the musculoskeletal system and posture in triathletes aged 10-15 years and based on that to create a health compensation program and then verify and be able to objectify the main musculoskeletal problems, recommend and provide remedies. METHODS USED: In my diploma thesis I used in testing the level of motor skills tests tested by CTA for the age group of triathletes 8-15 years and then I compared them according to the table determining the level of assumptions using T-points. I used a ray graph to summarize the average results of the group. I tested the analysis of postural functions and posture using physiotherapeutic tests according to the authors Jaroš and Lomíček, and I used Matthias' test as a supplement. During testing according to Jaroš and Lomíček, I used a plumb line, protractor and grid to make the evaluation as accurate as possible. During the physiotherapy measurements, I took photos and videos, thanks to which I was able to better identify postural defects, however they could not be presented in the diploma thesis. I recorded the individual results in tables. RESULTS: My research showed that regular application of a...

Nováková, Eva ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Půlpán, David (referee)
Title: Analysis of the current offer of leisure activities with focus on physical activity for primary school pupils with special needs in Prague Objectives: The main objective of this work is to analyze the services offered in the field of leisure activities with focus on sports and physical activity (PA) for primary school pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in Prague. Methods: We use two sources of data in our qualitative research. The first source is data obtained from the analysis of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports specifically for this research. The second source of data is a modified survey questionnaire created by Linhartova (2018). The questionnaire responses were obtained from 49 respondents, who were managers of centers and instructors of PA who provide leisure PA in Prague. Results: The research discovered insufficient support for PA among Prague primary school pupils with SEN in their free time. It turned out that on the one hand the offer of provided PA is not adapted to children with SEN and in the same way the offered activities are used by these children only to a very small extent, where it is more about individuals. The study also points to a set of barriers limiting the implementation of these PA. We identified obstacles in the area of insufficient...

Kyndlová, Tereza ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Majorová, Simona (referee)
Title: Inclusion of a pupil with cystic fibrosis in physical education Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to point out through case studies the possibilities of inclusion of a pupil with cystic fibrosis in physical education and to investigate the influence of physical applied activities on pupil's physical abilities. Part of the research was also working with a girl in physical education classes. Methods: Due to the uniqueness of the disease, was chosen for this thesis the method of a case study of schoolgirl aged 12 with CF. Methods of data collection included interviews with pupil's mother, teacher and teaching assistant, questionnaires, observations and MABC-2 test set. Results: We found out, that the inclusion of a pupil with CF is possible, but it is necessary to have prepared alternative methods and modification of physical activities in order not to damage the health of the individual. The individual approach to the student in class also proved to be effective. The research shows that physical activities as a part of physical education have a positive effect on some motor skills of a pupil with CF.
