Dvořáková, Monika ; Spilková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Martin, Jan (referee)
1 ABSTRAKT Mgr. Monika Dvořáková Reactive oxygen species play a key role in the patophysiology of renal diseases. The kidney is an organ highly vulnerable to damage caused by reactive oxygen species. Oxidative stress mediates a wide range of renal impairments, from acute renal failure, rhambdomyolysis, glomerular damage, obstructive nephropathy, hyperlipidemia to chronic renal failure and hemodialysis. This study examinated flavonoids contained in extracts of Epilobii herba and Ononidis radix as scavengers of superoxide radical. Extract of Epilobii herba is used in the treatment of the first symptoms of benign prostatic hyperpasia. It inhibits the intracellular prostatic enzymes 5 - α - reductase, which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. It has anti - inflammatory effect too. Ononidis radix is component of a lot of diuretic and urologic tea mictures. This drug facilitates urine secretion, lowers risk of creation gravel and stones renal in kidney and in bladder. The aqueous extracts of Epilobii herba and Ononidis radix and the aqueous extracts of selected flavonoids contained in diuretic acting drugs were tested. Superoxide radical was generated by the NADH/PMS system in phosphate 19 mM buffer, pH 7,4. Flavonoids were quantified by spectrophotometry and HPLC. Epilobii herba contains 0,4827 ±...

Dvořáková, Monika ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor) ; Skala, David (referee)
In the present hypercompetitive market environment of car producers established especially at the developed west european markets is very difficult to gain new customers and increase the market share. The car producing companies have to build and increase customer loyalty to ensure the sustainable growth of market share in the future. One possibility how to improve customer's loyality to brand is to provide the highest standard at both sales and service department and carefully monitor the customer satisfaction. From the satisfaction and performance indicators of the car producing company is possible to construct a mathematical model producing the market share in a given country as an output. Key indikators of customer satisfaction, sales and service and also the macroeconomical data has been used as the inputs for the model. As a target market for my analysis has been chosen Germany. This thesis presents a set of recommendations and proposals, whose implementation should ensure the improvement of the market share of the given brand on german market. The recommendation does not include only the tips for improvement of the key indicators but it also gives the overview of how to make the marketing strategy more efficient using Customer relationship management.
Pension reform in the Czech republic and its approach focused on second pillar
Dvořáková, Monika ; Poláková, Olga (advisor) ; Hájek, Jan (referee)
My diploma dissertation concerns the theoretical introduction of the retirement system, economic theories and the cause of the retirement reform in the first part. The second part represents the analysis of so-called small retirement reform and is focused on the retirement system since the beginning in 2013 with the accent to newly established retirement saving. The aim of my diploma dissertation is the evaluation of the existing functioning of the second pillar and the reasons of the low interest of the inhabitants. The comparison with the chosen states where the retirement saving already operates is a part of the second pillar analysis. Slovakia and Hungary are the European representatives with the similar schema of the retirement system and Chilean system is based on the fund financing. The opinion of the population was checked with the questioning. The pivotal part of my diploma dissertation and its main goal is the analysis of the second pillar accession availability from the age, income, family situation, investment strategy point of view and other criteria. The strategy with the low earning is suitable for the higher incomes only as resulted from the calculation. The more aggressive investment strategy with higher earning is convenient for the younger people with lower income and the older the more suitable access contingent on the higher income. As there is no interest in the second pillar participation the goal of my diploma dissertation is the proposal of alternative methods as investment or saving products of the bank institution for the old age security.
Commercial and economic comparison of traditional and alternative fuels
Dvořáková, Monika ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor) ; Kočan, Jakub (referee)
Negative predictions about oil stocks combined with the instability in the Middle East encourage development of alternative fuels, which would reduce dependence of the world's economies on oil. The oil and petroleum derivatives are the main dependencies for vehicular traffic, which contributes to the greenhouse gas emissions by a large part. It is therefore necessary to focus on trying to reduce the fuel consumption of cars used for personal transportation. One way to achieve this goal is, for example, to convert existing cars to run on biofuels, buying a hybrid or an electronic vehicle, or, hopefully soon, hydrogen-powered automobile. Obstacles preventing a wider deployment of such fuels and drive systems are often higher purchase and operating costs. These economic disadvantages are being gradually reduced though, and in the future we can surely expect an increase in the number of alternative vehicles on the roads.
European social fund and projects financed from ESF in terms of OP RLZ in years 2004-2006 in Vysočina region
Dvořáková, Monika ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Durdisová, Jaroslava (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with European Social Fund that has been constantly investing into one of the most prominent resources - the people. The Czech Republic has been using ESF means since 2004 in order to suppress the unemployment rate. The reason for choosing this particular topic is the fact that the unemployment rate in Vysočina region has been steadily rising since 2008 when Europe was hit by economic crisis. The first projects partially financed from EFS were between 2004 and 2006 when there were four national projects and follow-up projects carried out in Vysočina region. They had different focus and target group. The aim of the thesis is the analysis of financial resources allocated into individual projects as well as the calculation of the cost for each supported person. Moreover it analyzes which target group used the resources in the most effective way. The thesis also attempts to support or reject the hypothesis of wrong allocation of resources which is caused by insufficient short-time prediction regarding the demand for certain professions. The result of this may have been the investment into retraining courses within the projects in which the participants were in fact not interested. It is also essential to analyze if the implementing organs carried out corrective action for the following period. Between 2007 and 2013 there have been 5 projects in Vysočina region under way. None of them has been finished yet and therefore the thesis provides only characteristic and continuous evaluation of the outcome.
