Individual and collective care of two years old child - developmental advantages and risks
Benešová, Markéta ; Šulová, Lenka (advisor) ; Veselá, Michaela (referee)
This bachelor thesis summarizes key factors influencing the quality of care for a two - year - old child and his or her psychological development in relation with a specific type of care. The section of literature overview deals with defining central areas in development of a two - year - old child. Further, this thesis focuses on individual care of a two - year old - mainly epitomizes parent characteristics, describes initial interaction between mother and child, specifies father's role and other forms of individual care . Final section of the thesis provides an overview of types of collective care in the Czech Republic, although gives examples of several collective care systems in these foreign countries: France, Germany, Finland, Great Britain and the USA. The concl usion examines selected research studies concerning collective care for a two - year - old child and maps factors relating to the quality of collective care , which prove s to be crucial for the child's psychological development. The research project proposal is correlation research. The aim of the research is to compare the quality of the interaction between the mother and the two - year - old child in individual care and the mother and the two - year - old child in collective care. For research purposes, the Emotional Availability...
The utilization of the web maps focused on biogeography at high school
Benešová, Markéta ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Havelková, Lenka (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on teaching biogeography at high schools and its enrichment by use of web maps. The thesis contains of summary of information about biogeography and web maps and analysis of their inclusion into teaching according to Czech curricular documents. Furthermore it brings an overview of web maps concerning biogeography. For better clarity, the web maps are divided into several categories. Five web maps, most suitable for inclusion in teaching of biogeography at high schools, were chosen for further research. The chosen web maps are described more closely in terms of their content and possibility of their use in biogeography teaching, their properties were evaluated in rating tables. Exemplary task was designed for each of the five web maps so that it can be an inspiration for teaching. Key words: biogeography, web maps, high school
Conservation genetics of grey wolf and snow leopard: effect of landscape attributes to the population structure
Benešová, Markéta ; Hulva, Pavel (advisor) ; Kreisinger, Jakub (referee)
Landscape genetic approaches allow to study effects of landscape to population microevolution. Landscape can influence gene flow even in large carnivores with good dispersal ability. Understanding the influence of landscape to the gene flow between populations is crucial for species conservation, especially in the species with low population densities. Aim of the study was to describe genetic structure of the grey wolf (Canis lupus) and snow leopard (Panthera uncia) in selected areas and to determine the influence of the landscape features on observed structure. Non-invasive genetic samples of snow leopard from Nepal were analysed, as well as invasive and non-invasive samples of grey wolf from Central Europe. Population structure was determined a posteriori using Bayesian clustering approaches that integrate genetic and geographical data, and compared to landscape connectivity models. Population structure of snow leopards is mostly influenced by human presence and presence of frequented roads, which represent a substantial dispersal barrier. Habitat suitable for this species is greatly restricted by altitude, however, during dispersal they are able to overcome areas with higher elevation than what is optimal for them. Pronounced genetic difference was found between central European and Carpathian...
The role of northern refugia in Europe phylogeograpy
Benešová, Markéta ; Hulva, Pavel (advisor) ; Janko, Karel (referee)
Changeover between glacials and interglacial period singificantly affects species distribution for hundreds thousands years. Along with the traditional conception species distribution was restricted to refugia in southern Europe during glacials, Mediterrain, from where they recolonized northern parts of ranges after deglaciation. However, according to new findings many species could have had refugia to the north from this classical refugia, in central Europe. Northern refugia were often located in proximity of mountain systems or in rock massifs. Some species are, however, so adaptable that their dispersal was continuous even during ice ages to the north from southern refugia and they were able to live in cold regions. Even cold-adapted species contract to refugia, but instead of glacials their distribution is restricted during interglacial periods. Their ranges either contract to the north of Europe or undergo altitudinal shifts. Species can have refugia also in accordance with the gradient of oceanic-continental climate. In above mentioned types of refugia, complicated demographic processed connected with decreasing population size could take place, often resulting in speciation process.
Specific problems of parenting and upbringing of twins
Benešová, Markéta ; Gillernová, Ilona (referee) ; Šturma, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of parenthood and the upbringing of twins from their conception till the age of three. The theoretical part generally defines the terms family, parenthood and education. Further on it attempts to clarify some specific features of parenthood and upbringing of twins, especially the issue of experiencing parenthood, creating a parent-twin relationship, specifics of interactions between parents and their twins and the early development of the identity of the twins. The practical part focuses on research issues related to the experience of being a parent of twins, educational problems and practices of such parents, the impact of parenthood on the quality of a partnership between parents, creating the parents' relationship with twins, and support of their individuality. The goal of this work was to map the major problems which parents of twins in the Czech Republic face in the care and upbringing of their twins in the early period of their children's lives and to outline possibilities for further research in this area.
Determination of drugs by HPLC with different detectors
Benešová, Markéta ; Opatřilová, Radka (referee) ; Vávrová, Milada (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the determination of macrolide antibiotics in wastewater, especially with erythromycin, clarithromycin and roxithromycin. In this time are these pharmaceuticals prescribed quite frequently. Solid phase extraction (SPE) was used for the isolation and the purification of selected analytes from an aqueous matrix; as the suitable procedure was found the using Oasis HLB cartridges. High performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry detection (HPLC-MS) was optimized for its analysis of selected pharmaceuticals. The optimized method was used for the determination of pharmaceuticals in real water samples, which was taken at the inflow and the outflow of the urban wastewater treatment plant in Brno-Modřice.
Question of determination of analgetics in waters
Benešová, Markéta ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Vávrová, Milada (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the optimization of the method for the determination of analgetics in waters. The aim of this work is to work up the methodical procedure for determination of chosen pharmaceuticals i.e. salicylic acid and naproxen in model water samples. Analytes were isolated by solid phase extraction (SPE); they were identified by high performance liquid chromatography with UV-VIS detection of diode – array type (HPLC – DAD). The optimal method was selected from several verified procedures on the basis of practical experience.
