Kudláček, Miroslav ; Šiška, Jan (advisor) ; Jankovský, Jiří (referee) ; Hájková, Vanda (referee)
In this study we want to analyze these facts and to create the theory of "reflecting one's own disability". The main aim of this study can be expressed by these three questions: 1.How does one reflect one's own disability in the process of rehabilitation? 2. How does one reflect one's own disability at the time of school attendance? 3. How does one reflect one's own disability in daily activities? Methodological part is based on analytical concept of Grounded Theory. This study is based on these theoretical assumptions: integrative education, inclusive education Piaget's psychology of development, Foucault's concept of knowledge, social constructivism and medical and social model of disability. Social constructivism sees human actions as a complex of biological, mental and spiritual activities that blend and function together. So we understand it as a result of blending nonmaterial and material discourses. The result of this can be called cyborg. Cyborg is the concept of the human body in poststructuralist sense.
Special educational emphases in supporting adults with severe mental and multiple disabilities
Satková, Marie ; Šumníková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Šiška, Jan (referee)
The thesis deals with specific emphases of special educational support provided to people with severe mental and multiple disabilities in their adult age. The aim of the thesis is to determine what the specifics of therapeutic support for adults with a severe handicap are, and how professionals adapt their specialized care to the fact that their clients are adults. To obtain the data for the purposes of the thesis, a qualitatively oriented research has been conducted, using semi-structured interviews with teachers and social service workers who have been involved with severely disabled adults for a long time. Data has been analyzed by methods of open and axial coding, which are part of the grounded theory. Other methods of data collection utilized for thesis processing include content analysis of specialized literature, content analysis of service users' documentation, and participant observation. The data obtained suggests that professional support of adults with mental and multiple disabilities must take into account both the specific level of development needs of these individuals, and their physical age. A significant component of the professional care is creating a relationship to the disabled person as an equal partner.

Lukáš, Martin ; Valešová Malecová, Barbara (advisor) ; Šiška, Jan (referee)
Therapeutic horseback riding is one of the most popular and the most used form of animal based therapy. The term "therapeutic horseback riding" itself is very broad and it consists of four basic branches. The most used, yet least described, is the branch that has been called "pedagogical-psychological horseback riding therapy" since 2011. This branch is further divided into two sub-branches, Equine assisted psychotherapy and Horse-based activities. These two sub-branches overlap each other and are usually conducted together. With school-age children they are mostly used in cases of behavioral disorders and ADHD. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of the methods with children diagnosed as such. The research was realized in "Stredisko hyporehabilitace Pirueta" which operates within the Mental Hospital in Havlickuv Brod. The method of the research was observation of five subjects within the one complete therapy unit. At the beginning and at the end of the unit the tutors of the subjects were given observational scale, which served as supplementary technique for diagnostics. Data obtained from own observation and the data gained from observational scaled matched each other approximately in 90%. During the therapy unit all the subjects improved in areas of self-confidence, self-...
