Studie si klade za cíl vytvořit teorii reflexe postižení u jedinců s dětskou mozkovou obrnou. V další části si studie klade za cíl analyzovat vliv reflexe na školní a sociální integraci takto postižených jedinců. Teoretickými východisky jsou sociální konstruktivismus, sociální model postižení, vývojová psychologie Jeana Piageta a poststrukturalistické koncepty těla. Metodologická část je založená na výzkumném konceptu Grounded Theory (zakotvená teorie). Studie analyzuje tři oblasti života postiženého jedince - rehabilitaci, školní docházku a každodenní aktivity. Rehabilitaci jsme pojali jako soubor diskursivně formovaného vědění dle konceptu M. Foucaulta. Analýzy vedly k závěrům, že významnou roli při reflexi postižení zaujímají rehabilitační a kompenzační pomůcky, které formují tělo postiženého jedince. Zároveň však tyto pomůcky spolu s tělem postiženého jedince formuje prostor, ve kterém se tento nachází. V oblasti školní docházky studie ukazuje, že integraci/inkluzi dětí s dětskou mozkovou obrnou jako průnik rozdílných a mnohdy protichůdných diskursů, které toto postižení utvářejí. V oblasti každodenního života je postižení nahlíženo jako součást identity, která vzniká lidským jednáním ve veřejném i soukromém prostoru. In this study we want to analyze these facts and to create the theory of "reflecting one's own disability". The main aim of this study can be expressed by these three questions: 1.How does one reflect one's own disability in the process of rehabilitation? 2. How does one reflect one's own disability at the time of school attendance? 3. How does one reflect one's own disability in daily activities? Methodological part is based on analytical concept of Grounded Theory. This study is based on these theoretical assumptions: integrative education, inclusive education Piaget's psychology of development, Foucault's concept of knowledge, social constructivism and medical and social model of disability. Social constructivism sees human actions as a complex of biological, mental and spiritual activities that blend and function together. So we understand it as a result of blending nonmaterial and material discourses. The result of this can be called cyborg. Cyborg is the concept of the human body in poststructuralist sense.
