Management obnovy zahrad funkcionalistických vil

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the management of the renovation of gardens of functionalist villas. The results of the archival research are confronted with informations obtained through field research and study of sample projects of the renovation of gardens of functionalist villas. Theoretical knowledge is practically applied to the model building of Volman villa in Čelákovice. The list of background documents and the schedule of steps for each level of documentation, the schedule of works for each level of documentation from investment plan to realization of the construction including the assessment of after-care have been prepared for this building. The results of the thesis have been generalized in the methodical approach.

City Library of Přerov

The main goal of this thesis is to prove the suitability of the chosen locality called “Na Marku“ for building of a new object – the City Library in Přerov. The project shows one of the possible solutions, which takes into account keeping part of the archeological findings in this locality and its access to the public. As the building would be located on the banks of the river Bečva, organic materials have been suggested for the building, which would harmonize with the river and the town.

The government of H. Chávez in its impact on Venezuela

This thesis focuses on the government of Hugo Chávez from 1998. First chapter is dedicated to the history from the first mention of Venezuela until 1998. Then I analyse the Bolivarian revolution, how it contributed to the welfare of the country. I analyse the situation after implementing social programs and the role of crude oil in the government. Then I analyse the participation of Venezuela in MERCOSUR and in ALBA, which is Chavez's initiative. The aim of this theses is also to analyse relations with USA, Colombia and Cuba and their mutual trade.

Mobbing and Bossing as a Modern Problem

A bachelor's thesis describes mobbing and bossing as a pathological phenomen of a modern society and it is looking for ways how to spread information about this psychological terror among people. The theoretical part deals with the issue of mobbing and bossing, defining the terms, describing their causes, phases and tactics and subsequent health results. The work includes graphs and charts for better understanding and comparison of dates and some information of publications and questionnaires. The practical part deals with analysis of the appearance of mobbing and bossing in Kutna Hora locality. The aim of this thesis is a description and characteristic of terms, characters of a mobber and wictims, tactics of achieving of mobbing and bossing and the possibility of prevention or defense. It is necessary to remark that mobbing and bossing are long-term issues that can not be explained or resolved in the only thesis. The dates are approximate, corresponding to only a small sample of the population.

History of development of X-ray optics in Czech Republic

The summarizing paper sums up more than 40 years of research and development of grazing incidence X-ray optics in the Czech Republic. The origin of astronomical X-ray optics is related to spaceInterkosmos programme Interkosmos. Overall sixty pieces of Wolter I X-ray objectives were manufactured in key cooperation with the Optical Workshop of the Academy of Science in Turnov. Eight of them were used in four different space missions. After the end of Interkosmos project the development of X-ray optics was reoriented to X-ray laboratory tools for crystallography, to Lobster eye systems for wide-angle space monitoring and to Kirkpatrick-Baez imaging system for large X-ray space telescopes. At present, the novel concepts and technologies for X-ray space telescope considered in future ESA, NASA and JAXA missions are being developed

Comparison of the corporation tax base in selected OECD countries

The subject of this thesis is "Comparison of the corporation tax base in selected OECD countries". The main objective is comparison of corporation tax base legislation and its impact on the tax burden of corporations in Czech Republic, Austria and Cyprus. Sub-objectives are: analyzing the elements of corporation tax base in these countries, finding out how the asset depreciation is regulated in these countries and assess the impact of corporation tax base legislation on effective tax burden. For each country there are described elements that affect the tax base: subjects, incomes, expenses and other items deductible from the tax base. Impact on the tax burden is assessed using a model example and implicit tax rate on corporate income.

RAVAK entry into foreign markets

The principal aim of this theses is to highlight the various differences in selected countries. I will also try to obtain information about the problems in communication or in the actual commercial negotiations based on the experience of workers of the RAVAK company. The first part outlines the emergence of the RAVAK company, its beginnings, the scope of foreign expansion and training of workers. Furthermore, this chapter focuses on trade fairs and exhibitions, and a financial crisis. The next seven chapters are intended to introduce a course of action in some foreign countries. I chose Russia, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, China, Germany and Spain. In these chapters I will try to bring the entry of the RAVAK company into these markets, to identify any initial problems, the trade negotiations with local partners and other evidence. I will try to analyze the diversity of the cultures and behaviors in different countries. In trading on a foreign market, each firm met with culture shock, which must somehow cope. Cultural shock is a divergence in thinking and behavior of residents of other countries. These differences are described in this theses. I will try to show examples and to indicate possible solutions to various situations.

Vývoj a faktory ovlivňující tvorbu sítě lůžkových zařízení v ČR

Práce se zabývá vývojem a faktory ovlivňujícími tvorbu lůžek v ČR. Cílem je určit faktory, které mají na tvorbu lůžkového fondu vliv a zároveň jaký tento vliv je. Nejprve je uvedeno, jak se jednotlivé faktory např. počet úmrtí, hospitalizací vyvíjely v čase a co bylo jejich příčinou, dále pak důsledky technologického pokroku. V práci jsou naznačeny i problémy, které provázejí tvorbu lůžkového fondu. Poté je zkoumána současná podoba sítě lůžkových zařízení v ČR. Poslední část je věnována metodám používaným při tvorbě lůžek včetně konkrétního výpočtu podle jedné z metod a porovnání výsledku se skutečnou velikostí lůžkového fondu.
