Residential Complex in Brno - Komín
Novotný, Ondřej ; Františák, Luboš (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
Residential complex is located in district Brno-Komín surrounded by garden colonies among Pastviny and Houškova streets. Local structures are characterized by significant diversity, where the old village houses, block of flats from 80s, and detached houses from 21st century are represented. The design is not trying to enter local structures inappropriately. The major afford is to combine high density and low-rise housing with quality of public space. We are able to understand whole area as the border between the city structures and countryside, that is soften by designed objects. Complex is formed by three main buildings, which also confront the idea of baugruppe. Houses combine characteristics of block of flats and detached houses.
Design of assist robot
Novotný, Ondřej ; Látal, Roman (referee) ; Kučera, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor thesis is design of frame and lifting mechanism of assist robot called „Bob“. The thesis consist of several construction design of mechanism and gears, final solution control and creating of prototype. For the materiál of frame construction was chosen the aluminium because of its hardness and weight. The chassis of robot is 3-wheeled construction unable passing through threshold. The motor for robot drive was chosen DC motor with 500 rpm and torque 600 Nmm, which is placed inside of front wheels. For the lifting mechanism was chosen the motion screw with trapezoidal screw-thread Tr 10x3 made by DIN 103 from C15 steel. Another part of the thesis was create of the prototype for testing whole mechanisms and gears.
Adaptation of Speaker Recognition Systems
Novotný, Ondřej ; Pešán, Jan (referee) ; Plchot, Oldřich (advisor)
In this paper, we propose techniques for adaptation of speaker recognition systems. The aim of this work is to create adaptation for Probabilistic Linear Discriminant Analysis. Special attention is given to unsupervised adaptation. Our test shows appropriate clustering techniques for speaker estimation of the identity and estimation of the number of speakers in adaptation dataset. For the test, we are using NIST and Switchboard corpora.
Mobile Applications for Real-Time Noise Removal
Siladi, František ; Skácel, Miroslav (referee) ; Novotný, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a mobile application which will remove  the noise from speech in real time. The first chapter describes the theory related to signal processing and described filters for denoising. The following chapter summarizes existing solutions. The third chapter contains my own design and implementation. At the end of this thesis is the evaluation of the application and evaluation from users.

It specifically focuses on self-presentation and gender expression in relation to authenticity, studying the interaction between the self and the social environment. The thesis highlights the variability in experiences among these four individuals and summarizes their experiences into emergent themes and subthemes. Through description and interpretation, it seeks to elucidate and explain the individual experiences of the informants. Various common themes arise, such as: (1) the relationship between pressure exerted on the individual and the perceived need to challenge...
Experimental validation of active flow concept on wing section
Novotný, Ondřej ; Zima, Martin (referee) ; Popela, Robert (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is experimental validation of active flow concept on the wing section. This concept could be replacement of commonly used high-lift devices. In the be-ginning of the thesis, a different high-lift devices and other experiments of active flow con-trol are described. Practical part of the thesis describes a preliminery of the measurment, such as preparing wind tunnel section, design of the rotary device and models of the wing section. Next chapter describes measuring of the wing section without active flow control and wing section with active flow control. In the end of the thesis the measurement was compared with CFD analysis.
Physiotherapy in patients with multiple myeloma undergoing autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Holasová, Adéla ; Novotný, Ondřej (advisor) ; Ortová, Marta (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the issue of physiotherapy intervention in patients with multiple myeloma hospitalized in the transplant unit, who are currently in a state shortly after high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
