Risk Management Related to the Implementation of Smart Technologies
Kohoutková, Aneta ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Adamec, Vladimír (advisor)
The author of the diploma thesis deals with the risks associated with the implementation of smart technologies in the production process. The purpose is to analyze, describe and evaluate the current situation in Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic and abroad. Subsequently, corrective measures will be proposed to improve the current status. The output of the thesis is a proposal for risk management in the implementation related to the automation and digitization of the production process.
Modern methods for intersection signaling control
Bartoš, Pavel ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the optimal control of traffic lights at intersections. In the introduction, concepts are introduced and control methods are presented. Subsequently, Eclipse's SUMO software is chosen to create the model. Following the model of a real intersection, both layout and logic and traffic flows are created. The traffic flows itself are partially randomized. The control is performed using three green queue lengths and the evaluation is done by comparing the average and maximum waiting times. Pareto optimal points are thus selected. The first algorithm to obtain the optimal setting is a grid search. The second algorithm has been implemented by NSGA-II. The settings are compared with each other as well as with respect to the settings and the time window.
New trends in automatic systems maitenance
Císař, Radek ; Vdoleček, František (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with new trends in the maintenance of automated systems. It focuses on the list of problems that arise in the operation of automated systems. Proposals for addressing these problems are trying to eliminate or at least eliminate. These problems should draw attention to the errors associated with the design and operation of these systems appear. The proposed solutions show new trends and possible directions of development of these systems.
ABB RobotStudio - robot control using PLC B&R Automation
Mittaš, Eduard ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to demonstrate various ways of communication with the controller of the robot as well as consecutive controlling of this robot. The simulation will be achieved by using the TCP/IP protocol, while the communication in the laboratory with real equipment will be assured by Profinet bus. This thesis will show also another solution, which is simple communication and connection between Microsoft Visual Studio and Robotstudio by using TCP/IP protocol. Initial chapters will describe ABB and B&R Automation companies, their control systems, history and information associated with them. Following chapters will serve as a guide describing creating of application in each of three presented solutions.
Web Portal and DigitalniPodnik.cz Application

The website and applications are built on the Websy content management system. The test environment that was created provides an assessment of the company's digital maturity. The expert module contains additional functions for members of the cooperating expert group.
Methods of specification of cyberphysical systems
Junek, Martin ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of different types of description of cyberphysical systems. It also concerns a description of the selected method that meets most of the current requirements for CPS design. In the practical part, attention is paid to the elaboration of an example for the specification of a selected cyberphysical system.
