In the period from April 26 to May 26, 1986, the study firstly examines the number of articles about the race in the content of Československý sport, Mladá fronta and Rudé právo, then analyzes how many articles mentioned the Chernobyl disaster. Michovský, Václav ; Halada, Jan (advisor) ; Chladová, Marta (referee)
This thesis aims to compare media coverage of the first-class sporting event, the UEFA EURO 2016, in two Czech and Slovak national sport-oriented newspapers (Sport and Šport). To achieve this goal, the author of the thesis uses qualitative and mainly quantitative content analysis along with interviews with the members of the two respective newsrooms. The author focuses on how much space both dailies give to the event, what part of the whole coverage is made by the news about the Czech or Slovak national teams, and what is the (im)balance between the news and opinion journalism. He also compares the number of journalists that went to do their job in France and the number of their colleagues who were working from the newsrooms in Prague or Bratislava. The author is interested in the ways the two newsrooms reported about the rival team that used to be part of the former Czechoslovakian national team. He also tries to describe how journalists tend to write about their own national team. Another point of interest is the venality of both newspapers during the UEFA EURO 2016. Based on the interviews with members of both newsrooms, the author compares the media's preparation before the event and their mode of operation over the tournament. Besides above-mentioned media research, the thesis offers a view to...

Juna, Petr ; Štoll, Martin (advisor) ; Chladová, Marta (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the question of the possible involvement of electronic sport or e-Sport in the broadcast of Czech Television. E-Sport is a rapidly growing sector that attracts especially the younger part of the population. This phenomenon is tracked by millions of people around the world, and its popularity is expected to rise further. In the United States, e- Sport is already included among the sporting industries that can help players to get a college scholarship or easier entry into the country. In South Korea, where e-Sport is one of the largest social themes, players are celebrities and this year's presidential election has shown how important part of culture is progaming for this country. Even in the Czech Republic, e- Sport is already being broadcast, quite successfully on the Prima COOL channel. I also considered the possibility of engaging based on research that Czech Television itself is making every year. Concerning the average weekly intervention and whether the audience is offered programs "appropriate to their tastes and interests", it became clear that Czech Television had relatively low weekly coverage and content satisfaction among spectators from 18 to 24 (or 35 years of age respectively ). If the public broadcasting media were to decide, it could increase their audience...
