Tato práce má za cíl představit mediální obraz osob s handicapem, který je utvářen pomocí hlavních zpravodajských relací České televize a Televize Nova. Hlavním tématem práce bylo analyzovat mediální rámce a stereotypy, které jsou spojovány s lidmi s postižením. V práci jsou kategorizovány již známé mediální rámce a stereotypy a dávány do souvislostí tak, aby vznikl celistvý mediální obraz osob s handicapem. Analýza byla provedenou metodou kvalitativní obsahové analýzy za pomoci otevřeného kódování. This paper aims to present the media image of people with disabilities, which is formed by the main news program of Česká televize and Televize Nova. The main theme of this work was to analyse the media frameworks and stereotypes associated with people with disability. In this work, already well-known media frameworks and stereotypes are categorised and put into context to create a complete media image of people with disabilities. The analysis was done using a qualitative method using open coding.
