Effect of current changes in school legislation on pre-primary education management

OF THE THESIS Author: Bc. Anna Hrudková The diploma thesis deals with the topic The impact of changes in school legislation on management of pre-primary education. The theoretical part deals with the explanation and definition of concepts in the field of management, management of educational institutions (pre-primary education) and school legislation and its amendments. In the practical part, the work deals with the analysis of the collected data from the questionnaire, data were collected from the directors of nursery schools in the Central Bohemia organized by the municipalities. There is a correlation between changes in educational legislation and changes in the workload of nursery school directors and the functioning of these schools. The aim of my final thesis is to find out whether the current changes in school legislation (focusing on pre- primary education) have a significant impact on the management of kindergartens, how and in what areas the impact of these novelties was influenced. The conclusion of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the collected data and the proposal of the institution dealing with the legislation of education. Headmaster's function in the concept of preprimary education

The diploma thesis deals with the director's function in pre-primary education. The aim of the diplom thesis is to analyze and evaluate processes and management in the concept of preschool education, emphasizing the role of the headmaster of the kindergarten as the governing body responsible for the quality of educational processes. The preschool headmaster works closely with other pedagogical staff and deputy directors whose functions are also mentioned, here. The pedagogical staff are indispensable in the educational process of the school. The concept of pre-primary education is characterized in the theoretical part by its legislation. It focuses on the work activities of pedagogical staff - teachers, deputy director and director. It introduces the functions of the kindergarten, represents individual activities in kindergarten mode and mentions the obligatory documentation, which is necessary for the functioning of preschool organization. It explains the management within the studied field and describes the individual management processes and functions. 1 Third-age education: Its desirability, quality, and development Bc. Soňa Kalousková, DiS. The object of this diploma thesis is to examine the state of affairs in the third-age education in the Czech Republic, with regard to University of the Third Age (U3A), focusing especially to Charles University and Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University. On the basis of the results to reach conclusions concerning the question how the management of education can contribute to the development of U3A. The topic was chosen because of the researcher's interest in this issue. In the theoretical part, the necessary knowledge about lifelong learning and third-age education is presented, and the topic of ageing society is explained. The following practical part consists of sociological research with quantitative research, with usage of electronic and printed questionnaires and a regulated interview, which aims to map the state of affairs in U3A, its quality and possibilities of its further development. Intergenerational programs in the practice of educational institutions

The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning. The work defines the concept of age management, describes its implementation in practice and focuses on the topic of intergenerational programs, their specification, categorization and definition of their benefits and risks. Participatory management of the organizationin pre-primary education Renata Capová ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with the participatory management of the organization in pre-primary education. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis is dealt with in the first chapter by management in educational institutions, managerial management styles, decision making by an individual and participative and worker self-management. In the second chapter, in the theoretical part of the thesis, it deals with the management in pre-school education, the styles of leadership in nursery school and the head of the kindergarten. The practical part, in the form of indirect, standardized observation and structured interviews, focuses on the management of participatory management in the form of a worker self- management in the International Private Kindergarten and the Bambíno Dejvice Nursery. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the specifics of the management system in the pre- primary education of the organization based on the principle of a worker self-management. Trends in the field management of the education in dissertations of department

The Management of the education is the five years old filed of study of the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. This dissertation is looks for some trends of this field, based on all dissertations of the department for the period 2012-2016. The dissertation also provides an overview that is good for understanding of important concepts such as management, school management, educational policy or management ef education. The main goal of this dissertation is to map the development of topics and contents that have appeared during the last five years in the dissertation of the department, to analyze the problems that were most often encountered and to find out which factors influenced the selection of themes and the whole process.
Inspiration from Collins's methodical approach in the research of the headmaster's leadership

6 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis examines the leadership of the principals from three primary schools. The thesis is an inspirational attempt to transfer the concept of the business sphere to a specific segment of management education. Jim Collins's five-year study, Good to Great (Collins 2001), unveiled crucial factors in transforming a business from "good to great". This study is the inspiration for adapting the 5th Level Leader Concept to the environment of three selected schools, focusing on their principals who managed to get their "schools" out of mediocrity. The theoretical part is divided into three basic chapters, which are dedicated to leadership, school management specifics, and to Collins's study with the focus on the 5th level leader concept. The summary of the findings from the reference literature in the theoretical part is the basis for the practical part, which examines the principals of three schools in six attributes according to Collins's study. Practical Use of Cultural Education Management

The aim of this diploma thesis is methodical recommendation to the management of education in a given area of culture for individual culture bearers represented by the founders of historical monuments and their administrators. Stated goals have been achieved through content analysis of strategic materials and their reflections in specific organizations, based on interviews with culture representatives in the field of historical monuments on one side and education experts on the other side. The aim of the interviews is to identify the consistencies, differences and tendencies in the explored sector, which will then be reflected in the methodological recommendations to the individual cultural bearers. Author defines basic terminology related to the culture and its historical development in the theoretical part of the thesis, placing a significant focus on the definition of cultural and Christian values that have shaped modern-day Europe. These theoretical principles are then developed through a chronologic overview of main activities and strategic documents of the Czech Republic as well as by the European Union and international expert institutions taking care of maintenance and development of culture and cultural heritage in education.
