Powertrains of BMW cars
Guláš, Tomáš ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with the powertrains of the Munich carmaker BMW. It evaluates their historical development, focuses on the interesting innovative solutions in this domain, describes the current status and the success of BMW in the world market, points to a wide perspective and vision for the future car.
Multi-Body Computational Modeling of Transmission Dynamics
Líčeník, Adam ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on compiling a computational model of the transmission of a Zetor Forterra HSX tractor in the Multibody software MSC ADAMS environment. It analyses the issue of creating gears in terms of vibration and noise. The thesis describes the creation of computational model which is used for simulation of the load conditions during tractor operation. The methodology is applied to a single-stage gearbox in which is verified. Then it is used on a model of a real tractor gearbox. The response of the input load conditions is projected during the forces in the engagement of the gears which are transmitted to the bearings.
SxS Vehicle Concept
Kylar, Jakub ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create your own conceptual design of an SxS vehicle. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part consists of a search, where the individual types of axles used in SxS vehicles, their specifics to common types of suspension are analyzed in detail and then the design solutions of major manufacturers are compared. In the next part of the research, the basic types of drive devices are listed. This chapter is divided into parts (engine, transmission, differential, etc.). Here, too, there is a chapter on special requirements for these components, as well as a comparison of major manufacturers, respectively. their solution. The last part describes the conceptual design of the SxS vehicle itself using some computational relationships, but it is not a structural design, and this part serves more for an idea.
Design of gearbox for wind power plant
Zavadil, Roman ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is the design of a gearbox for a wind power plant. The introductory part contains a set of knowledge about wind turbine gearboxes and introduces the reader to the issue in terms of the distribution of gearboxes, gears used, recommended bearings and in terms of wind turbine generators. The design itself begins with determining the input parameters of the transmission based on a simplified aerodynamic model of the wind turbine rotor. Further, using these parameters, a device arrangement consisting of two planetary gears and one permanent gear. The entire transmission is examined in terms of kinematics, and in both planetary gears, the kinematic examination is performed using the Willis method. Then, the helical gearing is designed and its normal modulus, geometry, forces are calculated and lastly the strength calculation of the gearing is performed. Then the durability of the bearings is calculated based on a force analysis and the patented flexible pin construction is checked regarding its bending and deflection. The housing of the entire device is constructed regarding the smallest possible installation space in the control room. The final part of the work is devoted to the strength control of the bolts at the first ring gear using the finite element method and modal analysis of the entire gearbox also using the FEM.
Monitoring of hazardous environment
Bilík, Martin ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis Monitoring of hazardous environment deals with possibilities of construction of monitoring device for the nuclear power station Temelín. In the first part are accurate requirements for monitoring device, individual risks and identify obstacles and opportunities how to overcome them. There is also description of basic options for measuring temperature and environmental monitoring. Using multi-criteria analysis was done the selection of all components, from which is possibility to construct the first development release of monitoring device. 3D models for each component and the overall design visualization facilities were created in the programming environment of Autodesk Inventor. The conclusion provides an overview of the financial cost of the equipment is assembled
RF channel simulation in the MATLAB environment
Daďa, Petr ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Štukavec, Radim (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is elemental description of DVB digital television and digitalization process of its terrestrial transmission according to DVB-T standard. The thesis characterizes in detail RF transmission channels used for wireless distribute of television. These channels ale mathematically described and their effect to OFDM signal is simulated in the MATLAB environment. It was created application with graphical user interface by this environment. Using simple setting of DVB-T and transmission channel parameters in the application user can simulate selective fading. Results of simulations with various settings are compared and analysed.
Usage of Busbar as a Source of Heat
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This study is dedicated to the use of heat energy from the busbar and its cooling system. The study deals with thermal analysis of the busbar, both using numerical simulations in SolidWorks and practical examination – warming of the busbar. We can verify the correctness of the simulation from the measured values. To determine the temperature profile of the busbar, it is necessary to measure the temperature at various points of the busbar by contact method using thermocouple or contactless method using a thermal imager. Measurements are performed at the busbar LIA1600 made by Siemens Busbar Trunking System Mohelnice. The aim of the study is to analyze temperature busbar, to suggest the most efficient method of heat recovery, and to make economic calculation
Electronic systems of tractor engines with output power over 80 kW
Schűssel, Jiří ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with the electronic systems of currently produced tractors with a power above 80 kW. The work contains an overview of these systems, ordered by functional nodes of tractor. For all these electronic systems is given a brief description.
Analysis of powertrain impact on pull power capacity of a tractor
Zicha, Marek ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Bauer, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis “Analysis of powertrain impact on pull power capacity of a tractor” is focused on evaluation of measured data gained from performance testing of tractors Claas Arion 640 for two different types of transmission. There are also discussed the measuring methods and there is detailed described the function of measured transmissions.
Vibration and noise of electric vehicles
Winter, Josef ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problematics with noises and vibrations else known as Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) at electric vehicles type Battery Electric Vehicle. The attention is drawn to the powertrain system because the powertrain system was electrified. The goal of this thesis is to present sources of noise and vibrations and to show examples of experiments that are done on the vehicles to improve driving comfort of driver and passangers. In the end the measurement and analysis of noises and vibrations were done at electric vehicle by Hyundai from Institute of Automotive Engineering.
