G Suite at Universities: Possible Benefits and Risks

The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to describe and compare information systems of four Czech universities, specifically Brno University of Technology, Masaryk University, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, and the Mendel University of Brno. The thesis focuses on the overall appearance and design of the described information systems, with a focus on organisation, clarity, and navigation between modules and system applications. Besides, the bachelor’s thesis concentrates on particular modules of information systems, especially on schedules, emails and messages, file storages, and learning management systems - these modules are analysed and evaluated by students at the universities in the practical part of the thesis. Moreover, the thesis analyses and describes Google Apps, its security and privacy, and the practical part questions usage of Google Apps in personal and university life. The thesis also discusses and focuses on synchronisation and conversion of information systems to G Suite based on the quantitative research findings.

Uživatelské rozhraní systémů řízení výuky Návrh a ověření funkčních kriterií jako podklad pro dílčí evaluaci

Hlavním tématem této práce je problematika evaluace uživatelských rozhraní systémů řízení výuky (angl. LMS - Learning Management Systems). Stejně jako při návrhu uživatelských rozhraní v rámci celého oboru HCI (angl. Human Computer Interaction) stojí v popředí uživatel a způsob jeho interakce se systémem, tak i pro evaluaci rozhraní byl zvolen pohled uživatelský (angl. UX - user experience). Cílem práce bylo navrhnout oblasti funkčních kriterií, které odráží požadavky uživatele na systém a které mohou sloužit jako základ pro dílčí evaluaci LMS. V rámci interdisciplinarity HCI jsme se zaměřili na technicko- psychologický pohled (počítač-člověk), doplněný o oblast, která odráží samotný účel LMS - pedagogický proces. Domníváme se totiž, že při evaluaci LMS je důležité kombinovat obecná funkční kriteria, vztahující se na jakýkoli systém, s kriterii na výukový obsah, na formy jeho distribuce a na metody práce s ním. Na základě stanovených oblastí pak za pomoci kvantitativních i kvalitativních metod zkoumání byly evaluovány kurzy v LMS Unifor v období 2012-2014 a kurzy v LMS Moodle v období 2015-2017. Výstupem výzkumu je pak sada funkčních kriterií, které považujeme za elementární a která doporučujeme při volbě LMS zohledňovat.
